Need help with career choice change.

I almost stopped tinting to learn and do PDR, if you pick it up and are good at it like someone said earlier you can make really good money doing it. I know a few guys out of North Carolina that chase hail storms and they make bank during the season, one guy makes about 9 to 12k a day but he also can push dents faster than anyone I've seen. Heck the guy that takes the cars apart and put them back together makes minimum $200 a car. But that all depends on you, go with your gut

Say no to all them! They're all back breaking trades, tinting especially.  Seriously though do you want to do this when you're older and your knees and back need surgery?? Hell no!!  Im on my way out real soon, since i dont want to do this anymore at 41. I want easy money and tinting isnt it. Going back i would never have gotten into this oversaturated trade.  Many tinters get a big head thinking theyre the shiat cause they can tint. In the end its just like any other trade anyone can do, just takes a little more than some.  I used to have a passion for it, but just hate it now. Sorry about the rant..just over it.

how much money can you bring in from tinting realistically monthly?

That's like asking how much money can you make painting houses. Every self employed person has the ability to make whatever dollar amount they want. Just many are too lazy to do so. :twocents
