Does anybody double cut and double shrink?

I was taught by somebody that double cut so it's a thing I've been doing since then.

 

I don't really see why you wouldn't double cut? I guess if you make a mistake you wouldn't need to waste 2 pieces of tint but it's very very rare a mistake is made when cutting so it's worth it with the time it saves imo. If I ever do make a mistake its usually the top cut that I mess up but it's fine since I can just file it

We double cut, but shrink each window separate.  The only reason not to double cut is on older vehicles...this is because some of the glass could of been replaced over the years and the seals are not new so might not be the same shape which could end up with gaps.

I double cut and shrink....but on cars with super curved windows I shrink separately...careful to there's a few windows that the driver side is a little longer then the passenger

I double cut and shrink, but after little while I realize that the double shrink takes more time and increasing the risk of fracture the film. Especially in the ceramic film. So I dropped it and do only double cut.

We pretty much double cut on most vehicles and shrink separately.

Double cut and shrink separate. Reason I do is bottom layer will be inside out and can and has caused puckers do to the fact film shrinks and curls in a natural position (just like only shrinking factory edge and not against the grain). Remember heating film on film side naturally curls toward you, thus shrinking the bottom layer quicker due to the fact the liner is on the glass...so get ready to picked up some times when you do that. New school cars will work, but old school cars will have your ass going back to 101 shrink course.

I use a plotter most of the time now, but I used to double cut , and shrink. I would only snap shrink though.
