Otherwise tint looked good.  I was shocked.  Would love to know who did it so I could give them a hard time. 

This was on a newer Mercedes car.  Bottom ws peeling on driver door.  Top edges were nearly perfect so I would be this was a plotter cut.  Nothing like it being shot on the bottom and filling with paint that didn't sick either.

Got to retint this today.  Had done the other door a couple weeks ago that a body shop had replaced.
 
I can't fathom what they cut this with.   Also have to love the purple fade!

Did a 2016 today.  No light to mess with and window was under 30" tall I believe.  Wasn't very tall for sure. 

I think the vehicle designers are just trying to find ways to make it harder for us! 

Yes, they are the best case scenario when tinting residential; cutting down solar energy before hitting the house windows and you need not have to deal with dual pane safe film selections.

Unless they spec it to work with Map gas I wouldn't try it. 
 
Ts8000 and map of you want a torch.  Just learn to adjust the distance on it. 

@quality tintz the torch attachment you listed did nothing for me.  Was like my Wagner heat gun on low.  Would work but very slow.  A PDR guy had it and likes it did heating up car panels.

Aaron, was Stag on here,  and hasn't posted for many years.  I am not sure what happened but we lost a fellow tinter that I know pushed or trade to better install quality.
 
His business is Complete Window Tinting in Belleville,  IL.

I cut/grinded of the rail on the longer blade side.  I just use an old piece of stainless blade.  Change out if it gets dull. 

Card sharpener had to be modified to really work on the blue max, and crush squeegees.  I have one modified and they work good to put a new edge on.
 
I think I shared a picture of it a long time ago. 

They aren't selling llumar film for that price.  Film alone for a full car is higher than $25.
 
Btw most newer factory glass is blocking a lot of uv and a good chunk of heat as well. 

Orange crush,  long handle fusion.  I cut the "hilt" off so I can hold the squeegee the way I like.
