............Actually 3M Dusted Crystal is 48 1/2" wide, Not 48".
And what is up with that?!?!?!?!
I'm all for having a little bit more then what 'they' advertise... but what is with these weird measurements?!?!? (Not so much 48" - but 50... really??? 50" or nothing. No 24".. no 36"... tons of waste, which I realize just means more $$$$ in the manu's pockets... but like.... ugh. Hasn't any of the suits that decide this stuff ever installed an inch of film?!?!?!!?)

Change the lighting. It needs to be super bright on the mirror side... .darker on the other side. Think of CSI - when they are talking to someone... that room is brightly lite - everyone watching from outside is in a dark hallway.
It's just a matter of the lighting.

Is it possible to cultivate work in your area? The biggest group of potential buyers are the non-buyers due to not knowing the benefits of your services. You know what the product does.... In your area, do people need it?

I don't have a shop, so take this for whats it worth.
In another life I worked at a local mom & pop ski shop on a fairly busy road. The best thing that worked for them was using a banner and, I assume this is what they are called - feather flags to get business. They put them out by the road... got a lot of attention.

That's cool. I've only used it on flatglass... didn't know you could shrink it.

Does that shrink?

See kids, this is what happens when you use cheap film.

It looks better then the first time they did it.

Call a pro and pay them to do it.
Short of that, being a pro, I use bricks. They are the fastest way to remove film. Break the glass and get new.
Removing old film sucks hands down bar none. Which is why pros charge what they do to remove old tint.
That being said....

That's fair. I don't disagree with that. Just not the option I would go towards. But that hardly means I'm correct. Many ways to accomplish something.

If not for auto film and secuy film
What about deco? I know you do a lot of that.... I'd think that would kindof always be there like security. Have you seen that increase or decrease over the past 2-3 years?

would you commit to a business that has a known declining market
Nope. But for those that are currently, and I hate to use this phrase, but 'in the business'..... But with anything, you gotta be able to pivot. Whether that means an exit strategy or whatever....
