Residential film will ghost real bad if you try and shrink it. Plenty of manufactures offer 60 inch rolls in automotive. Express carries them even in 25ft increments.

I don't have many issues but I do use the store brand and shake my tanks at the beginning of the day. Mixing 3 gallons in a corny at 2 to 1 ratio.

It looks good sitting in my toolbox

You could it probably wouldn't be crazy different. You typically look through just the back glass with the rear view mirror and not side by side so I don't think it would be terrible. What kind of car is it?

After using the orange crush for months Im over it. Even retried the pink clean and that one should never be used in auto tinting. The orange crush just takes too much effort, plus it leaves streaks. Only using orange for bg now. IMO using the unger is less effort, most cost effective and cleans better than anything. Im done trying new tools....I would of been better stickng to one tool than going back and forth over the years.
I tell myself that about every time I try something new. The only reason I got away from the black Unger is because I would always get a piece or two of rubber in the film. This didn't happen for a long long time, so IDK if something changed or what. I use the clear crush with black and white squeegee for sides and blue max. Tried out the hammer tool that's out and it will scratch the piss outta window if I ain't careful. I'm in the same boat though screw the new stuff I'm sticking with what's working.

Nope you're completely right. Best alternative is going to be 0000 steel wool.

Love to see the rear doors of the 08-12 Honda Accord done with no shrink

I remember some two door piece of shit that would do that, notorious for breaking as well. Chevrolet maybe but I can't remember

If I needed a spare I'd be all over this one 😂😂😂

How are liking that First Cut program?
It's aight but I'm not actually using the first cut per say. I am apart of a group that has private files with notes and such added on. We do pretty well in there but there's also patterns with notes saying the pattern sucks.
Side note I currently am using a trial of the dap and those patterns are probably the best I've seen. Only down side you have to buy their film which I'm not opposed to doing but I can't convert fully too given some of their stuff doesn't meter where I need it to. Well two down sides their windshield strips are limited. I'd really hate to run two programs but we'll see what I decide

Someone just posted a used one up here. Otherwise I bought mine from solar gard.

I use to give away a small can of sprayway micro and koozie. I started noticing though on some that came back for add on stuff it was still sitting in there untouched so I stopped.

Global all day er'y day.

I agree with bham unless it's aftermarket and obvious double sided tape I'm cutting around it.

I've installed the dyed, pretty confident it's the same as solar fx carbon which is a good film. Haven't had the chance to install any of the ceramic but will say the XR plus 45 is very blue. Probably wouldn't use it on just two fronts but ok for full car.

Ok global 15% is very neutral black looking or their ceramic 18% has very good color imo.

Are you cutting through the film or is it just tracking real bad?
