Looks like crap to me 😂 he's right ceramic Is prone to some hazing but imo that's more than it should have.

You're very welcomed. We had a nice time helping you out. If you need me I'm always available.
Maybe we can all get together and meet up at Cedar Point for some all day rollercoastering. If @jh812is up to it.

Anything we do to the rear half is going to be an added benefit for heat and privacy (depending on film). To say that it's not going to help is just asinine.

I think the main limiting factor is cost...I had heard they were even slow to pick up the 80% due to uncertainties. I have discussed other VLTs with distributors and the answer always is "well, it is really expensive and not sure how much of it we would sell." I told them I will take one roll of each and if you carry it....you will sell it...to somebody. They really have some great performance specs and I hear the coloration is a more "grey" look.
@jh812 do you carry the 86%? If so...what do you think about it and/or what is your market for something like that?
No I don't. I checked on it the other day and the heat rejection was in the 20's similar to crystalline 90. I'm gonna keep sticking the 80 until I have issues with it being it's at 42.

How do the other ice cool grey VLT's look? they all blue-ish down to the 40% or are any truly grey?
I feel like i'm way to hung up on hue sometimes. I've held up 2 pieces of films (greenish and bronzeish hue) to people and asked which they like better and every one tells me whichever makes me more money. I think we care more than they do.
The 80 and now 86 are the only two available. IDK if the others are just available oversees or what but you definitely can't find it through distributors here. I called around last year to dragon, express, and solar control.

Definitely not, patterns didn't seem any better than anything else I've tried either

Have any of you guys tried the 80%? If so how does it compare in appearance?
I sell a ton of that and love it. I've got it on two of my personal vehicles.

@Apex TintDo you find customers tend to complain about the color of the QDPC 70%? I have it on my sample board along with all the other Global shades and it almost appears to have a greenish hue or even a "Kakhi" color as some have called it. I have a hard time selling it because of the coloration I find at times. Just curious about your experience.
It looks like chit and I sell it haha. I don't think it's as bad once it's installed but it's definitely the least favorite for me.

I knew before even pulling this thread up you started it

Damn.
How did the bottom corners go?
Actually went smooth I was expecting worse. My first time ever doing one solo. The guy that I started with would two piece them. I hit it with the fusion 8 inch once it wanted to roll then the side swiper and she stuck.

Been using it for nine years now with no issue. Ceramic I've been using 4 or 5 I'd say with no reported issues. @MT1 who were you buying the ceramic from and how long ago was that?
