I'm guessing he bought the car used with the tint on it already a year and a half ago. The car is a 2012. Tint is probably much older.
Ah missed that part. Probably because it's so big in the header

That is absolutely ridiculous for a year and half.

@pbalentine here's another to add to the collection. IDK on long term yet but man this thing gets the water out better than anything I've ever tried.

Back glass or windshield bagging is the best option imo. It's good to have a steamer however in the event no sunlight is present. I use it a lot for side windows though, and never bag those. Even if it doesn't remove it with all the glue it will help soften it, making it easier to remove. Pick you up a bottle of ATR adhesive remover and you're good to go!

Dragon distributing is the global supplier here.

If you carry it to a professional they may be able to get the first layer off. Likely they will say there's no guarantee and if it messes up there's nothing they can do other than redo it. Well that's what I would say anyways.

I never had much luck with fvd and wound up switching. I haven't tried it yet but I'm hearing dap from xpel works really well.

Not to add insult to injury but the topic had already been discussed here. Try the search bar next time you get something you're unfamiliar with
