Those components are almost impossible for a Tinter to damage so no. If your car is old and has issues maybe.... but still doubtful 

Truck wrecked or modified previously? Somebody trying to match a weird color pulled it off with some dye or something? If you're about to own them I'd start experimenting with cleaners and detail stuff and then try my hand at dye/paint. @Bham first windshield I buy or laminated window is getting torched from the outside before it gets replaced, I will learn.... or take out my frustrations

Cut it real tight up top driver side  on back glass antenna connection basically part of the dots up there. And bring the long reach tools!  camero......  

New z4 back glass is tight and hard to get to ...

Lines are broken, see this more often on a used car that's had paper tags or stickers on inside of back window. They either pull defrost when removed or some genius will try to scrape them off with razor blade. Probably like that before install only noticeable now after tinted 

I love this tool, use it more than my titan or bulldozer. And it's easy to use from the outside on so many cars finishing the back window

Doesn't look good to me. Ton of trash in the one pic, and the one that meets the edge just stuck too fast for the installer and they improvised..... so thumbs down.

Again this has to be llumars version of formula one stratos, its 2 mil instead of 1.5 and you just have to push a little harder. Shrinks fine.

No knife hitting the paint for any reason here, I'd like to see a better pic of the damage as it doesn't even look bad from what I think I'm seeing  Were child seats involved  Did you move your girlfriend/boyfriend recently  Nobody has the time or wants to look like it's a repeat problem and take the time to document every tiny thing they find with pictures, unless they've overbooked you to check in Cameron's dads Ferrari.   I've been accused of some stupid  in my day so I'm on the defensive here for ma fellow tinter.
