I did a couple of them wet shrinking traditional style and then like a half reverse roll to gat it on. ( bottom to top)
My brother has done a lot of them and says to turn the 60 sideways to shrink it. Takes half the time.

I wonder if people would act differently if businesses could give Yelp reviews on customers?

That usually helps! Unless it’s the back part that doesn’t move. I’ll grab those kinda like Frankensteining a back glass, so it’s kinda taco’d in the middle. Then lay the outsides up into the roof, letting the middle hang down until I can slide the outside parts behind that opening.
Hope I explained that ok?

I tell them, “it sure does!”
your gonna have to keep it at 25 mph or less for 3-5 days while it dries!

Ahh sweet revenge! The d bag salesman at bmw that never upgrades film and can't plan ahead is but hurt to get his car back. It's the 3 I had waiting, already called to rush after he was told end of day I may get to it sometime today

@Tint Slayer
I use the orange crush in the fusion hand job handle. I will pull when I squeegee also, with the hand held thing it’s the perfect amount of leverage when your working in the middle of a back glass or windshield. Once I’ve worked closer to the sides, I’ll turn it around and push what’s left like normal.

I’ll never understand tinting every window as if it were the same. Cars are different, windows are different, film’s we all use are different. I always want to find the best way for a particular window/vehicle, maybe the next time it’ll be faster or a cleaner install. Hell sometimes you just gotta make Sh@/ up as you go to get a job done. That’s how I got that last PITA 944 done, I don’t dry shrink hardly anything, but that thing wasn’t about to go wet.

Yep exactly ain't nothing to it. I half peeled for about 8 or 10 years and didnt even know what bottom loading was. Through a few videos and some instruction I taught myself that technique and now I feel equipped to get the best possible result I can on every vehicle. I can't imagine stopping learning, cause there's always something new coming out.

No felt on 3 sides, rubber. I pull the seal easily, without risk of damage. 45 mins solo on a new and clean car, without roof or shield and zero complaints from custy. And I know that's been my target market at work for over a decade. They're among the easiest to pull, have been for a long time.

the SC. The Chevy Beretta was really similar too as I recall. Fortunately for me most of those are out of commission around here so I've never had to attempt it. probably just jinxed myself better raise my prices just to be safe.
Hopefully he tips well

The whole storefront took two full days to install not including design time and plotting the lettering! coloring the hair took about 4 hours! It was worth it! i charged the same thing as i do per square ft as what we charge for doing vehicle wraps! we have a guy who wraps cars for us! Thats not for me!!! I'd rather do tint graphics!

Youre right with the back to school thing- every year- that cavalier is pretty far out there though! I had one of those stupid Lexus SUV’s last week for an R&R fronts.
Sad part was the film coming off, was the best match I think I’ve seen on one.

Super Dave reacted to Roach in film suitable for perspex/plexiglass
The first job I used it on I did the 2nd layer right after, and it ended up bubbling up. So since that job, I've gone back after a few days for the 2nd layer.
I'm sure tinters have done it right after with no problems. One job isn't really enough to judge what's the best way to do it but I'd rather not chance it.
