Luckly Mechanics Of Arrest is only a 2 week block. After this everything from here on out is classroom stuff. We have 8 hours of this Saturday :lol6 and then all next week.

The dumbazz exercises they had us do has everybody so sore that we cant run or hardly squat to sit down for that matter.

We got to cuff out in the parking lot at dark lastnight with the units lights on. That was different. Those strobe lights can definitely jack with your perception.

One of our objectives is to get handcuffs on a person in under 3 seconds. last night the first time they timed me I got 2.67 seconds. you HAVE to do in under 3 seconds or you fail the course.

be careful, the strobes can cause someone who is prone to seizures to have a seizure. File that little tidbit of info away for any details to work special olympics. Why create more work for yourself lol

Its been a busy week. I passed my Force Options test yesterday. Another test down...another passed :cool no failures yet on my part.

The mechanics of arrest resumes next week. I have a bruised sternum and still very sore throat muscles. I am kinda worried that I may have a broke rib near the sternum :cuss

My WHOLE right arm is a bruise....

      South facing windows DR film

      Install went great. I went with NV-25, I am very happy. The room has been darkened significantly, from bright and hot to much more pleasant and enjoyable. Watching TV during the day is no longer blinding, when it is cloudy it is definitely a bit gloomy, I am glad I did not go with NV-15. I plan on getting more windows done in the future to help cut down on heat energy. Thanks for everyone's input!

      Stratos 70 on windshield, what is this?

      Captain Obvious has two cents err senses to share: 1) The film should be removed and replaced, because it appears to have adhesive blemishes that shouldn't be there, and 2) The film should be reviewed/inspected once taken from the roll to avoid losing time and resources due to manufacturing issues. Little pieces not so much, but back glass and windscreen pieces ... definitely.

      I switched so long ago... first to KDS but they went away. NT are great though. I use a piece of white strapping material as a cutting buffer between the blade and glass. Some use a button but I didn't like the feel..
