I would have no idea, but ginger doesn't seem like it would be rare locating it. Has anyone said why they don't have any? Or is this the first time you've looked for some to plant? 

 

 

 

First time I've started looking for it.  All the nurseries don't or haven't carried it.  Haven't asked exactly why because I've just been asking if they have any to plant and then moving on to the next phone number  when they say no. :heh  

 

It seems to be something that just isn't grown here that much.   Over 33% of what we do have is imported from an Asian area somewhere.  

 

I'm going to try some from the store if it looks like it hasn't been refrigerated.  Fingers Crossed.   :gardening
