The rep from Rayno called me today pushing thier film, never heard of it before. I'm just looking for some feedback. He dumped some numbers on me.

It is a Korean film that was really popular for a second, but saw a lot of dealers sell off their stock.  S9 was having some sticking issues, but the S5 seems to be a popular film with current dealers selling it as a color stable film.  Still too new to see any major failures if any.

I liked the first gen stuff,  then they changed the adhesive and I hate installing it now.  Went back to qdp ceramic.

He should be showing you the S7... 70+% IR and under $300 a roll. Can't argue with those numbers. Longevity is still a question, it's realitively new

I'd still be using S7 if they hadn't changed  the adhesive.

How long have you been using it though...just a few months ago you were asking the same questions about films.

I've been a LLumar user for a grand total of 12 years so it's hard to sell me on other products, especially when I've only ever seen failures in the material 5 times (three of which can be traced back to to same roll).  Thanks for your input!

I wouldn't mess with a good thing if I were you.

Supposedly 3m was looking to sue rayno because of one of there films infringed the crystalline technology
