New idea for saving lost tools. :idea   

 

Install a theft alarm like Wal-Mart has at the front door.  Put a theft strip on all of your tools.  

When the vehicle is backed out of the bay, the alarm will go off if you left a tool in the vehicle.  

 

Cause you know the dang customers NEVER bring them back. :heh
