Half peel question?? Top load

When you guys top-load do you peel the liner half ways down or 3/4 down???

3/4, then trim it so the long liner doesn't get pulled by the door panel.

Say you're looking at it on the outside when you just made the top cut and the window's down about an inch, you wouldn't want to pull it lower than where you'd see the top of the door in that position. If it's above the top of door on the outside then it's above on the inside.

I leave anywhere between 2-6 inches.

I usually leave 3-4 \inches of liner on the bottom.

Usually about 75%, but I like to leave the liner in tact, maybe just folded. I use the xtra length to help taco the middle, to rinse, peel, and lay inside the trim. I just hold it off the door panel when I roll it up.

I do I like Dave and cali, cutting liner is extra step, extra steps equal extra time. exceptions are some of these rvs, ford transits and large vehicles where I peel and set top 20 to 25 percent and leave 75 percent liner on, gives me cleaner results on those larger funny shaped windows.

Its different for everycar bro. You dont want to peel too much to where it touches anything.
