Best slip solution ratio?

Having problems getting the right slip solution mix. I currently am using just regular Johnson's baby shampoo. Anyone have any good advice for water to shampoo ratio thank you

If it slips too much you are using too much.

 

If it sticks too much you are not using enough.

Yeah it slips to much. Just wondering if anybody has like a ratio that they do per cup of water

Too many variables in water ,water temp, water type, glass temp ,coatings on the glass, outside temp, humidity,skill level of installer.....

 

For consistency sake use distilled water. Some mannys recommend it.

 

Test and approve for your own self.

 

When I train guys I get them on a small sprayer first  and start with less slip . You can always add more. Gotta toss the batch if its too slick.

Mine in Eastern NC pretty much year round is 2oz to 1 gallon in a corny with 3 gallons at a time typically. I do also have a super slip bottle so that if the window beads up I'll use it. Also I only use off brand supposedly name brand will gum up the tank.

I use 3.5-4ml/liter

6 squirts from baby shampoo pump...to the .27 gallon pump dispenser

 

for the back window 10 squirts ..probably too much but for me I need the extra slip back there.

8 mls per liter for sides, 12 mls per liter for back glass. that's using Joy Non-Ultra. 8 mls per liter is the same ratio as 1oz per gallon.
