just got this thing finished. Took about 6 and a half hours and I didn’t enjoy one minute of it. Would have been ok had I taken the glass out. I couldn’t get The rear curved windows shrunk properly due to brackets and such being in the way. It was a tough curve and really needed to be removed to do a good job on. I’m not even 100% sure I could have got the tint to shrink enough even if I did remove them. He didn’t want to remove them so I just cut the film short where it wouldn’t lay down. He was fine with it, so I let it roll.

Tint seems it is back to normal being booked up. Past couple of months have been up and down.

It is more common when vehicles have thicker defroster lines pushing the film further from the glass. The bigger the gap on the sides of the defrosters, bigger the issue. Also when we use thicker window films, it tends to happen. We always tell them to run their defroster for the first week...this helps the film to shrink closer to the defroster removing more of the gap creating glare.

Light physics affected by refraction through the curves in the film around the defrosters.

I have to say the Hanita film is impressive. I did a test spot and left it on for a couple weeks. It peeled without leaving behind any adhesive. I went ahead and did the whole plane in carbon Nano 35.

Mercedes R class..not a fun car at all! Customer wanted Air80 on the rear half to so it was the whole stupid car..ugggh..very thankful they dont sell these in the states anymore
