Ford Rear View Mirror removal tool

Try this tool out ! I got one on order Tooltopia.com ( part# otc8200A ) and there is a video somewhere showing it popping off all different types of Ford rearview mirrors with no GLASS BREAKAGE. However

I do believe it to be a 50/50 shot still.

I refuse to mess with the newer style Ford mirrors. It just isn't worth it. They will have a slit in them. I explain this to the customers before the install and they normally have no problem with it.

are you removing the mirror by compressing the clip at the bottom and sliding the mirror up and the abs is used under where your tool is pivoting off the glass to distribute the force on the glass? Do you have any pics actually doing this on a mirror??

I use to have a video I'll have to search for it or just make another, I've done a thousand of these with the two tools.Ive had to modify it on the 2014 f250 and cut the ABS to side around the edges of the mirror and not hit the rain sensor. Also has to shorten the tool in have so that I would have plenty of clearance from the dash..

on a good note the 2015 ford f150 has a two piece front strip.
