I figured I would put this in this thread. :D

You are doing it wrong!!

When you make pasta noodles, are you using a colander?  When you boil your pasta do you pour your noodles into a colander to drain them? :nono

You're doing it wrong. :heh
Next time,,  after you finish boiling the noodles,

LEAVE THE NOODLES  IN THE POT > PUT THE COLANDER IN THE POT >

GRAB WITH BOTH HANDS TO HOLD IT IN THE POT ABOVE THE NOODLES >

SLOWLY POUR OUT WATER never having to remove the pasta from the original dish you boiled them in, and no trying to ring the colander with all the pasta.

  :krazy   All this time we have been doing it wrong.

Ok guys,, you know I like to cook. :food   Well, I like to use bacon, A LOT!!   So I figured I would give you my trick for perfect bacon bits.

When one of my recipes calls for cooked and crumbled bacon, I use the oven to make perfect bacon bits.

1 = you need two cookie sheets exactly the same

2 = Parchment Paper (( NOT WAX PAPER :nono ))

3 = bacon :drool

preheat oven to 400°

Line one cookie sheet with parchment paper and place bacon on paper, evenly laid out.

Place another piece of parchment paper on top of bacon and lay the other cookie sheet on the paper to keep the bacon flat.

Bake at 400° for 20-30min. depending on your bacon and how crispy you want it.

All you should have to do now is dry your bacon on some paper towels and crumble it with your hand.  NO KNIFE NECESSARY  !!

Enjoy.   :fat
