    2016 coupe.

The film could easily be removed from that without damage. I would redo the entire vehicle. They’ll probably give you a better deal doing the entire vehicle, at least I do.  I actually removed the 2 fronts yesterday on a 2000 Lexus GL400(had purple limo all around) I knew better to not try an upsell the back half of that, because all of it would need to be razored off!

  2. I think what happens is I’ll get contamination and I’ll blame the tool. Then do the same with that new tool.  There are a dozen tools to clean with and none are really a whole lot better than the other. Just got to settle on one and forget it.

I was stoked to see that the orange cruwh blade can go into a hard card sharpener. It made the blade sharper than a new one.

  3. After using the orange crush for months Im over it.  Even retried the pink clean and that one should never be used in auto tinting. The orange crush just takes too much effort, plus it leaves streaks. Only using orange for bg now. IMO using the unger is less effort, most cost effective and cleans better than anything.  Im done trying new tools....I would of been better stickng to one tool than going back and forth over the years.

  4.  The panel no longer easily pops backs to get the seal out.  I pulled the panel on one side and was able to pop the panel on the other. If you only pop it, be cafefull the black clips at the top edge dont fall in the door. Those top clips are so damn tight. Ive never removed a panel that was this tight at the top ever.  Heres what you remove: 1 - 7mm behind handle and 1 - 7mm behind interior panel (below the switch cover).

  5. Those wanting to tint see the tools and think it looks fun and its a cheap start up.  You need tools often and theres much more that you need than tools. To learn on your own might take 3x longer than getting trained at a shop.  If you are looking for and easy business that wont frustrate you...you’re looking into the wrong trade.

I've tried almost every color turbo or similar squeegee and they all suck IMO. Nothing beats the yellow

I guess thats why the yellow is the most popular. I want to get the pink clean in the hamd holder again.  I tossed it and tried to break it months back, but recently tried it again and like it.  Going to use that for 1/4s and ones that are real small Im not squeegeeing; just wipe and flush.

  7. Just got the green turbo, which I really wanted to try out. At first glance it looked great(flexes like black & feels like yellow) but the edge is slightly uneven in a few spots and rounded some. I called about it and they said its a common complaint and all the green turbos have it.  I mainly use turbos to clean small 1/4s, but not going to be confident the window is getting clean if the blade is dull and uneven from the get go. The blacks always have a good edge.  I did get yellow way, way back that was much worsre and is the reason I never used them much.

  8. Forget doing everything with a turbo. Too much wear on your arm and i dont feel like those push enough solution out for install. Just watched a video a few days ago of an old tinter saying there bad on the finger tips and many fazed them out.  Those dont even comare to a handle squeegee imo.

I actually just got the green turbo today, looks good!  Flexes like a black, but its slick like the yellow. These will only be used on 1/4s. For rollups I clean with a orange crush and install with blue max & ez reach. For the BG I add in either the bulldozer or stroke doctor.

I would find what you like and put the rest hidden away.  Then go back to it if the tool you’re using is working.
