I don't do too many matches here cause of inspection and being at 32. I have though been able to get those numbers almost exact due to the fact that these rears are on average 30.

I had one a couple months ago that we matched up pretty well, but had to put a layer of 70% over the back half. Worked out better because he originally came in for a tint 2.

practice bro, I never reverse rolled till recently. Start with easier windows you normally wouldn’t RR, till you get more comfortable.

You can but it's going to leave an air line across it and doesn't look great. I always try and talk customers into pulling it and then going back after the full shield is done.

About a 1/4 to 1/3 of the way down there is a partial antenna line you could use as a seaming point, it doesn’t go all the way across though. The defrost is in a half circular shape so that’s out. The top part is shaded because it’s really the roof, so you wouldn’t see the seam from outside. So far all these customers have picked my most expensive film, so I’ve only been adding $100 bucks for the 1 piece.

If no one bothers me like 2 or 2 1/2 hrs. Not likely where I work though, so I usually have those dropped all day. Yes, the back is 1 piece.

Yeah only one that really tipped was the preacher I mean I just volunteered for it so I didn't really expect anything and it was relatively small, less than 50 people probably. I enjoyed it though cause I really hate the walk up and social mingle thing. This was a lot easier for me.

I always feel bad for the wedding bartenders, don’t know what it is but people are cheap at weddings! I always throw them a $20 to start out. It’s amazing how fast you’ll get your beer in a crowd at the bar then!  I feel like if the drinks are free, the least you could do is tip.

Super Dave reacted to DynamicATL in Which of these is the fairest quote for ceramic considering brands?
If it was me, none of those would be a good option.  Skip Midas and American Standard all together, never heard of Premium Tech, Suntek CIR is a better option than those but is decent at best, and 3M Ceramic has a high reflectivity to it which IMO doesn't look great which is why most 3M dealers don't carry it.  Out of what you have there, I would ask the 3M shops for Crystalline which will have a higher performance than Ceramic and cost shouldn't be too much higher than their Ceramic.

As said above, the new Civic Type R's and hatchbacks are more difficult to install on...so make sure they know what they are doing.

Everything is going good, I’m going today. I’m actually in the last heat and drew the last competitor number, I guess they wanted to save the best for last

Good on them for switching it out for the customer. Our dealers around here would just have some crap touch up guy do it in the parking lot and call it good. I feel new car quality is going south quick. I see it in glass and paint the most , but that is what I stare at all day. I also am not say one way or the other that it didn't happen while getting tinted. But people don't look at cars the same way until after they have a service done. I point things out to people all the time that had no idea about it. But I bet they would have noticed it after we worked on it. This isn't so much directed at your situation, but something is defiantly going on with Tesla. I have work on many over they years  but the 2018's are not looking great. I have done 4 brand new Model X P100D's in the last couple weeks. Two Full body PPF wraps and two full front clips. All got front window tint. The paint has been horrible on all of them. Dirt nibs in the paint, even seeing wavyness in the body panels. We have a white one in the shop right now that looks like the mirrors have so little paint on them you can see the black showing through. The one we had last week had scratches all over the roof glass on the outside. The owner said he saw them when he got the car but it was to much of a hassle to deal with. Not to mention thing like having to close the hood a certain way or it will bend. Really!  Sorry that turned into a rant.

I suspect the release side of the liner is treated with something to aid in it not adhering to the film adhesive.
