Oh man, those look great! I will be trying those for sure :thumb

As you can see. It shows up well on limo and still good on 30%. Even with the white wall background. :thumb

Here's my version of that never thought about posting it

It's a 6 inch putty knife I bent in a brake press and I rounded the corners

Bro this is a Good idea.. I made one and it has helped me tremendously on those tight gaskets. I just wish it wouldn't rust.. But yes this works u just have to be careful while using it.

A tinter that worked for me in the mid-80's did that to a putty knife. He didn't care for the wider one I used.

 

Just know the metal can and will one day seriously scuff the door panel. Also, I know a shop in NC that had to replace two Mercedes roll up glass a few years back because they broke from the metal pressing against the glass edge below the rub rail while tucking the film. The glass was laminated.

 

Best reason(s) to use bent plastic.  :thumb
