If you have peanuts try the Rike way to form. I have watched @Ryker several times and when you finish the film looks like it is just out of the box with absolutely no distortion. Improper shrinking can cause them for sure

Was doing a removal today and when the back glass film started delaminating I stopped,  called the customer and gave them the option to lose the defroster or replace the glass. We have a waiver but always stop, drop and roll to prevent problems. Customer decided to just leave it till they could find a used window.

Yes, it goes on dry which means a cleaner install from the jump...no water bubbles.  It designed to install just like vehicle wrap.

Quite a few trim levels and series available for that one. Difficulty levels are listed on the kit search at www.xpel.com, but keep in mind not all design houses approach a car the same way.

Yes I am afraid it is on you but give it a day or two  maybe you will get lucky and it will dry out.

If you did not cover the radio and it can be proven water is the cause of damage, yes you would be accountable.

I had a new 17 yesterday that after prep, roll the window part way down then up to make sure it was in the correct position... apply film, shave the edge then roll it up to finish the bottom and window would roll all the way down. Neary 40 years tinting doors and I did this one 8 times. Was embarrassing  Any magic with the window having a memory?  Have been reading bmw forums where they talk about using the fob to roll the window down then hold for 5 to 30 second to "reset" the window....whew! Earned my money for sure but going to give the customer a  full refund cause he was so polite after spending half a day waiting for a simple job to be completed. Wish all customers could be as understanding
    Hope this helps someone.

A true off road install a customer brought in a while back.
QDP 5% all the way around on this 1966 Ford Twin I Beam pickup.
I'm a huge fan of the 66 since I have one with some low miles but not as nice of this show truck! I went to the dealer in 66 with my dad when he bought the one I have now.

    Congrats Stan!

Yeah, it is great for new vehicles, especially models that are on the first year of that generation.  Bust that glass and it is easily $2000 to replace.

Wish I could even entertain the thought of offering a product like that here. It'd be nice because it's tough to keep a good windshield for long due to the number of trucks kicking up gravel on the roads but most people don't garage their vehicles and I'm sure the first frost would spell sure destruction of the film.

I have been training new and not so new tinters for longer than I wish to remember.  Back when I started I used to get lots of hate ranging from late night calls to hate emails....now everyone is a "coach " which I guess is the new catch phrase for trainer.
And we had to walk uphill in the snow to learn
