It's like that lottery news clip where a news reporter asked some guy what he would do with the money if he won.. his reply was hookers and cocaine.

Lately a couple of people have suggested taking the forum to the Goliath of Facebook. I suppose they prefer the ease and that there are many people on it.
I think these people deserve a thoughtful response from me why we will never be on Facebook and why TintDude.com is different.
The easiest way to do this is to say what we are not, so I titled the post: TintDude.com Does Not...

TintDude.com does not have a team of psychologists making their product as addictive as possible.
TintDude.com does not add members to the forum, every member here signed up. Unlike the groups that can be created in a day where the admin 'adds' members that they have info about to make it look like hundreds of people signed up.
TintDude.com does not track you around the web and keep track of all the websites you visit.
TintDude.com does not make you wait 2 weeks to delete your account.
TintDude.com does not create a psychological profile of you that it can share with 3rd parties.
TintDude.com does not sell your information to, or share your information with 3rd parties or device makers.
TintDude.com does not require in its terms of service that if you use the mobile app that we have full access to any and all banking information done on that phone.
TintDude.com does not build shadow profiles of non-members.
TintDude.com does not work with payment sites to know what products you buy online.
TintDude.com does not care about your race, gender or politics.
TintDude.com does not perform psychologic experiments on its members.

    Facebook does.

I hope everyone appreciates the difference and what we are trying to do here. Thanks for your time.

Correct, it is a step below Crystalline.  It roughly on the same level as Llumar IRX, FormulaOne Pinnacle, and other Ceramic IR films.

Below, my understanding is it's designed to fill the gap between Color Stable and Crystalline. There's a massive jump in price between those two.

Some with magnetic bases, and all with fully rechargable batteries, the same as their tools.

Duuuuude, looks amazing! The 3'-0 long base looks better, i was going to call out 3'-0 like you did but i wanted it to fit thru doorways if needed though i can't think of many reasons for that need lol. The vertical sides should be screwed into that little piece for extra bracing. The only concern i had was i tried to do without the diagonal bracing like shown in the pic below, i made the connection at the base beefy to where it should be ok, but let me know if you ever feel it needed the brace or if it doesn't feel solid or any input and i'll change the drawing and repost.
I also was thinking of using a 6"+ roof gutter centered under the wood at the bottom of the glass so the water collects and goes out the side.
Are those 3/8" lag screws you used to connect it?
Great job and great choice in film!

@Tint Slayer Thanks for sharing the blueprints. I did modify it already myself to the size of my glass. Basically instead of 6 ft wide I shorten it to five feet all together. Also, I increased the length of the 4x4, the two which the caster wheels are bolted to, from 2' 4" to 3'. Here are my pictures so far.

The past few years there have been countless reboxers pop up. Many of them will go tits up once their comebacks start to pile up and they can't cover the warranties. I have no experience with SolarFX and no idea how they plan for warranty reimbursement to dealers.
if I were ever to hitch my cart to a reboxers horse, I would want to see the bank acct they set aside for such warranty issues. ..
If you are in this business for the long term......saving pennies now, will cost you dollars in the future.

So, i I'm reading this right, (and I don't know what the point of posting it here is) a fellow has a warranty claim and is referred to the proper channels and it's some kind of major issue?

Sorry if I'm slow, but I don't get it.

In our little corner of the world, business has been phenomenal. Our sales this year surpassed last years by mid August ..and last year was off the charts..  Our tickets per project were significantly higher overall ( larger and more complex ) than previous years. Virtually all of it deco and custom printed in nature. Having the equipment and capability to produce our own film has cut our costs by almost 75% in many cases. ..which is essentially a huge bonus to our net profits. ..

Remodeled and moved into a 60 year old service station as our new larger location February 1st and haven’t looked back!  We’ve nearly tripled the last two years numbers in 8 months!  85% of tint jobs are ceramic now. And the lift/level and accessory side doesn’t show any signs of slowing down!  This far 2019 has been a phenomenal year.

We tried PDR and went to Ding King training for it last year,  around this time. We were able to practice a lot from November to January. Unfortunately and fortunately it got so busy at the shop that we didnt have time to do any PDR,  afterwards. We have to go back to training for it. This year has been crazy for us. Just like you, it is now slowing down a bit. I am now training 3 interns for next year. We turned down so many customers. Our PPF and Vinyl are now getting very busy as well. I turned down every single Vinyl Wrap with a full color change because we were understaffed. Its about 2 cars per week for 6 months. We also just landed a gigantic job with our electronics department that will require 2 personnel 24/7/365. Basically its our 3rd year in business and It has been nuts compared to last year.

The Tesla giga factory is bringing in many people who are from out of town and people are now making more money per hour because of Tesla. It's hard to find a job that pays less than $14/hr. Even McDonalds pays $12 now.
