Hello everyone! We are pleased to announce that after a long while in the labs we have finally released our FX Plus Nano Ceramic Super IR film. This film is not a Korean or Chinese Carbon/Ceramic film. This film is based off of our ever popular FXtreme2 series of film with much higher performance. The FX Plus has 96+% IR rejection on every VLT that we make unlike many that vary from VLT to VLT. This is the highest performing Nano Ceramic IR film in the industry. You want IR performance, we got it. You want heat rejection, we got it. Call us at 800-825-3746 to speak to a rep about this new exciting product. Currently available in 5%, 15%, 30%, 50%. 20% and 35% are just a few weeks out. Followed by the 43% and 65%.

Gotcha didn't know.
Yeah, we designed it to come in at 62% IR rejection to compete against the Korean Carbon Films. We feel that it is a much better platform than the Carbon Films.

It makes more sense now since his post was all over the place. Also, not your fault if the shop sold him IRX as a Ceramic film. I see shops promote non-Ceramic films all the time as Ceramic.
Actually the IRFX is a nano-ceramic film. We just call it IR film to not confuse the FXtreme2.

How long did you have it on your vehicle? I've been running their Ceramic on one of mine for years with no issues both in terms of performance and longevity.
Short story, there was not a film failure. IRFX Series Nano-Ceramic Film was installed last week 10/7/2019. He was not happy with the installation. 5% all around the vehicle on a 2005 Scion XB. Said it was a poor install. Bubbles in the film, 1 week later. Says that this is a SolarFX Warranty issue. Wants us to refund him. Told him this is not a manufacturers defect to go back to dealer.

Do you accept returns or exchanges on window film that hasnt been opened or touched? I got 100ft roll of 80% SolarFx FXtreme2 and need to exchange for 50% VLT. Never opened so was just curious.
Give your Sales rep a call tomorrow to see what we can do to help you out. -
I am new to the forum and have been tinting in South Florida for 20 years. I am looking for a new brand of window film to sell that has all-around good film and customer service. I am currently using 3M and have used Llumar, Suntek, ASWF, and Viper. I was interested in Global window film and SolarFX to name a few based on this site. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Thank you for your interest in SolarFX Window Films. Our films are manufactured to be the highest quality products in the industry. If you’d like to speak with the Florida sales rep give us a call at 800-825-3746 and ask for Derek. He can help you out for sure! -

Hey Bham, thank you for sharing this. We are excited to be launching this product. Watch the videos to learn about this product. I will try and find a video to post for the community to watch. It will be $19.99 per bottle and will help immensely to remove the coatings that are on these newer vehicles. Give us a call at 800-825-3746.

Can I get the catalog as well. Thanks
Can I get your email address? -
Why do we have their cheapest film on our vehicles? lol
I think it’s quite simple. If our cheapest 1 ply Tint lasts as long as everyone here has spoken, just imagine how long our good stuff lasts, just saying! -
Im just curious if i where to install solar Fx 5% classic black non-color stable film how long will it take to fade purple. State. Nebraska.
Hey Long, just thought I’d chime in here and give you a comment. All of our window films use 4th Gen dyes, including our Classic series. We have been using this film for over 5 years in the hottest climates in the USA with ZERO complaints of turning purple.
If you have any additional questions give me a call at 800-825-3746 and I’ll answer them as I can. I can also give the number of a guy in Omaha who has been using the Classic series for 5 years so you can hear it from an actual user of the film.
Thanks,
