I think pretty much everything on the planet is Carbon, so every one is right. That popped in my head sipping my CARBONated soda, so if someone wants carbon film dump some soda on it and say you've been CARBON-ated bee-otch. Problem solved all around for everyone.

I also think consumers are doing more and more research on window tint.  So brand names come up a lot online, so makes them seek out the ones people are talking about.  It is the same reason people are asking for Ceramic or Carbon films, they keep seeing it repeated online.  They don't really know if they need it or if it is right for them.  They just know 16 out of 20 people they read recommended it.  Global, for example, is repeated heavily by actual tinters, but don't think that has much impact on consumers because they want to hear what other consumers are saying.   The other issue is the lesser known the name is, it seems like more tinters/shops leave out the brand name from their website, etc.  The guy we tinted from North Dakota that was taking a trip to Florida specifically told me one of the reasons he selected us is because most places don't even list what they carry.  So for brands like Global that are not investing tons of money into getting the brand out in front of the consumer, it is up to the actual tinters/shops to promote it heavily.  Eventually, consumers will see it in more places and it will draw consumers to it.  Or you can still live in the 80's and promote only your shop/skill.

Pros.  ZERO

If you are looking to add a line, each of those films has small performance differences...in the real world probably not going to tell.  So your concern should be more about if you like the appearance, how well does the film install for you (shrink/scratching/adhesive), and the price of the product.  Out of the 3, I would drop the CIR as Suntek has more scratching issues, one of the higher low angle haze films, and just overall lower quality.
 
There is no right film, just what works best for you.  Best thing to do is to get samples of each and feel them out.
 
For all the Global people about to jump on the thread, you can suck it.      

my first plotter i got was a 48" in the end it wasn't large enough once I started to a bunch of full PPF packages. I ended up getting the 64" in the end anyways.
 
if you do window film only then i would atleast get a 40" plotter so u can do back windows. Cost difference is most likely only 1000 bucks 
if you plan on doing ppf I would say 64"

I started using Wincos 10 years ago and now I use a lot of CTX since switching to LLumar as my main Company. Madico kept me hanging with issues, film failures, and their scratch coat began to scratch easily so I made a switch. I had used Madico for almost 30 years and make me feel that a women in tint business isnt worth their time.

 Worst is when people say "I drive Cummins diesel, howmuch to tint it"

True, plus some manufacturer reps may make them believe it is something that it is not.  That was happening with Solargard Ultra Performance...some shops took it as a Ceramic because how it was worded to them.
