Midtown Houston reacted to coast2coasttinting in window tint bottles which one last longer
This conversation makes my hand cramp, by all means buy a corny tank or 2 and be done with it. Best move I ever made was getting away from hand sprayers.

Midtown Houston reacted to Quadrunnerjake in window tint bottles which one last longer
I personally dislike the p2 sprayers, the trigger lock is a horrible design, seals are shitty, the pump itself feels crappy and doesn't build pressure quick. The nozzle is very good on the bottle though. I personally use the jr pump up sprayers. Little more capacity, pump feels much better and builds more pressure faster, replacement parts are cheap and every single part is available. My only complaint is the spray is shitty until it gets broken in, like if you don't have it on high pressure before it gets broken in then it sprays a circular pattern rather than an even mist. I have never had any problems with mine other than letting the seals dry out from not using the bottle or dropping bottle and snapping the tip off.

been a P2 user for almost 30 years. I remove the trigger lock and lube the slide every month or so. 3 or 5 gallon tanks are great if you are stationary, I can't lift them anymore. The spray tip goes bad in a few months. I prefer the fine mist for hanging. Most professionals buy good tools, I would question a mechanic that hand walmart tools. good tools last longer then cheap crap.

Midtown Houston got a reaction from quality tintz in Global Window Films - How long have they been around?
The question you should ask is....how long have the rep been with the company. I have seen rep come and goes...and that is usually a bad sign. Then I seen company that have their rep for many many years letting me know that the product is good and the company take good care of their rep.

Midtown Houston reacted to smookee408@yahoo.com in 2018 Audi Q5 SQ5 front door sweeps
Normally I just do the two front doors on these and the seals are tight. I did remove the door panel once but its a pain. The door handle has a plastic that is super tight to remove and you always crack it a little on the back side. Too many ridges that hold it together. Plus the door panel is heavy. I have to use three bungee cords to hold the panel. This new method, well not exactly new but in my bag of tricks. Remove the trim piece by popping it out and sliding it towards the front exposing two torx bolts. Pop the top of the panel towards the rear and remove the sweep. Now install is cake with bomb drop method. Putting the sweep back in remember to spray some slip on the underside of the sweep and it slides right back. Here's a pic of where the two bolts are located.

Midtown Houston got a reaction from TintDude in 2017 Hyundai Genesis G90
Here are the instructions for removing the sweep from the new G90.
Front Doors: remove 1 screw behide the handle and 1 screw from the armrest. Pop off door panel toward the lower front of the panel. Remove your sweep and done.
Back Doors: took us some time to figure this one out. Remove screws like you would the front door. Pop off door panel and remove top cover. Remove 6 black screw to release auto window screen (what ever it is called). I put blue tape to show you guy where the screw are located. Pull the auto screen away from door (it is a little tight due to the sweep but it will release). You have to do this to remove the sweep due to it being one piece and stretching to the end of the quarter glass.

Midtown Houston got a reaction from E_Loc in 2016 Ford Focus and RS model
This is the 2nd RS model we did with 3M Crystalline. Crystalline 40 on side and back glass and Crystalline 70 on windshield. Rear top spoiler must be remove for shrinking the back glass for a easy install. Front windshield on this vehicle is big for such a small car.....Not a easy windshield to heat shrink in Crystalline.
There are 7 screw to unscrew to remove rear top spoiler. The plastic cover will pop off to reveal the 7 screws. All the blue tape mark all the screw that need to be remove. The spoiler will pop off with a little muscle on each end.
The front door sweep is super easy to remove. Remove the door speaker by just popping it off. Remove cover be hide door handle to reveal screw and unscrew. Get a hook tool and hook out sweep. Sweep or door panel have to be remove on this vehicle to do a clean install.....TRUST ME!!!
The Back door sweep is the same....

Midtown Houston got a reaction from quality tintz in Will be opening business SOON!!!!!! need advice!!!
Dude...we have a lost skill trade like lock smith. The all charge me $300 to unlock my door when I got lock out. The charge me $600 to change out new lock for my place when keys are lost or stolen. .....Let me tell you something about locksmith .....They all work together on pricing. They don't rip no one off. Their time are worth that much and they value it so much that they charge that much.
Why can't we value our time and skill set. If we all work together instead of trying to undercut each other. We will all be valuable.
The service industry is here to stay and will alway have a demand. DO NOT DEPRECIATE THE SKILL AND DEMAND. I live in Houston and we are short on tinter big time.
