DOOTINT got a reaction from quality tintz in Bottom loading bomb drop
28in GW and was tight but slid in carefully and no heat gun needed and just used them 2 squeeges and only the tri-edge for the upper back corner mostly
2017 BMW X6,,i kinda wanted to try to remove the seal but gave it a shot without taking apart and was pretty quick

DOOTINT got a reaction from quality tintz in More Slip when using Global?
Slime is roughly $30@gal and is 23 cents per oz to make a gal of slip?
Not sure how many gals of slip i can make with a 15oz bottle $1.50 of BS because i use 1 squirt for cooler weather and 2 for hot days and sticky films with 2qts of water and few big squirts for the Monster tint juice bottle?

DOOTINT got a reaction from addicted to tint in Bottom loading bomb drop
Unnecc steps are cleaning the bottom edge after rolling the window up and then trying to tuck the film and having to heatgun almost everydoorglass before or after install
After about 25yrs of gasket wizards? If they scratched the bottom edge of the film? I would be removing or popping every seal instead

With 2/28in gasket wizard shields a New Tundra power rear window was so easy to drop in and the 4dr crew cab was super easy also with using them

This is how far the building crew got on Friday. Hoping to finish drying it in this week but we have rain possible Monday and Tuesday. Then overhead doors will go up, stone masons will do the facade/wainscoat (required by city code enforcement), electricians, plumber, AC guys and spray in foam people will start doing there stuff. Then the buildout inside for office, loft, kitchen and bathroom can begin. Sooo much to do now and the clock is ticking.

DOOTINT got a reaction from Jerrybigbird in Oracal 8300
I use a felt block squeege or just fingers and maybe a glove with heatgun
I have not really done very many either but that stuff shrinks better than tint
I needed more practice and this is dark grey for buddys mostly drag car(outlaw street)with open 2in headers and 4in holes coming out in front of the front tires and a big supercharger(cops will hear that from 5miles away)
Going to redoo the headlights and grind the tabs off for headlight aligning but had to see if it would shrink around them things? LoL covered the ford emblem also and one headlight was yellow

DOOTINT got a reaction from Tint Slayer in Safest Method
Safest and least expensive thing is to say I am not responsible if them defrosters dont work after removing the film

DOOTINT got a reaction from quality tintz in Adjusting to colder weather
Isopropal alky doesnt break down tint glue from my winter installed jobs(flatglass or auto) for at least the last 15yrs or so and it doesnt break down the adhesive for removals very well either
Windshield washer fluid worked for a flatglass job that was over 100mi away and no good heat at the storefront glass@i just dumped in a few ozs in my 2qt sprayer as the reg slip froze when cleaning the glass
