Ryker got a reaction from TintDude in Cordless heat guns
Go for the map gas and ts8000 tip though.
The m18 is not nearly hot enough...

Ryker got a reaction from Ellis in Scorpion Film?
Which is it? In a few months it went from good to compete crap?

Ryker got a reaction from Roach in How can I apply window film on 33”x90” closet mirror by myself?
Are you serious? I'm guessing not.
We know that Klingon is the best though.
-
Ryker got a reaction from alberts316 in How much should i charge for tint jobs starting out?
Charge as much or more than anyone around then do the job until it looks good enough. You might not make much but you won't be lowballing the pricing either!

Ever have someone do you a favor and turn the key off while you're working?

Get a small charger to keep on older vehicles esp older batteries.

Isn't it frameless doors on a challenger? So where is a need for felt taping?

Ryker got a reaction from Bham in Life as A Window Tinter.
3 hours to do a car.....when I started 22 years ago. About 2 full cars in that time now. 4 cars a day wouldn't be bad... One man show.

Ryker got a reaction from MastersTint1414 in skipping the smoothing step all together
I don't normally use a soft squeegee to set doors. Just get it in place then go after it with the Orange crush.
-
Ryker reacted to TintDude in dusting off my squeegee
Hey, I hope you are able to get your car tinted to your liking.
I am going to ask you to move on now though. Not sure why you would want to be posting around people you disdain anyway.
Thanks.

Ryker got a reaction from highplains in which tint to go with?
This is the "thunderdome" and you must not have been around long!
The truth is this golf guy is NOT going to be happy. He is going to think that he didn't get dark enough, the heat rejection isn't what he thought it would be, defroster lines will be sparkling with headlights behind at night, the normal less than perfect tint job will have to many "bubbles" of dust, he'll see the imperfections in his window glass that show up with tint applied!
He will not be happy....so I told the truth.

You answered your question by searching. Is your forecast "freezing"? NO! Even if it was i bet you park in a garage....
I don't think you are going to be happy with any tint you get. You're way to worried about EVERYTHING and second guessing everything!
Do us all a favor and either just get the tint and trust the shop or don't.

Ryker got a reaction from highplains in 13 year old Global
So I had a car in for a new door glass tinting. Did this 13 years ago. It is HP 05. As you can see there is no visible fade color change.
This is a delivery vehicle that is outside all the time.
Glad I switched.
