It only takes me 2-3 min with dual heat guns for most bg’s and a more stable shrink

For years we just used the simple finish carpenter pouch you get at Home Depot for 10.00, on occasion, our rep  would stop in and drop off a few that were branded with the Mfrs logo. ..they were free. ..I bought one from Quick Draw..and could not get rid of it fast enough.. Recently we got a few from Mike Sanchez.. and IMO, they are the best on the market. Very very well thought out and super high quality. He also embroidered our logo in them and added our company colors on the piping. 

This is a mountain T5 39 watt underhood  light case (amazon $85). only last a year or so being mobile.   I gutted the frame and put a 32 inch 180 watt 18,000 lumen roof mount spot/fog bar into it (amazon $49).  Clamp across B pillars for back and quarters or A pillar for pickups.  alligator clips to my 1200 amp jump box or to car battery.  do not use cig lighter on cars considering current draw.    the second is a  250 lumen 3aaa battery for inspection in shops with poor lighting, $20 home depot.

I sand the whole thing with 2k wrapped on a hard card and push center out each way. After that clean with Dawn and 90% alcohol and a little bit of water. Haven't had any issues since.

Last 3-4 customers for these were aware of the breakage. The ones I did I just two pieces the bg two inches above the middle defroster line where you couldnt see the seam.  The 3m dealer here prices high to avoid one piecing them(extra $350). 

I’ve been tinting for over 14 years and I have a large clientele base. That’s where most of my work comes from the other 1/3 is from Yelp. I’ve been hand cutting most of those years and funny got a plotter two years ago. I really don’t know why I didn’t get one sooner. As for being a tech it’s great I like the work but it’s looking like I’m going to retire from it once I’m a journeyman. Last year I made more money from my side tinting business then as a tech. Considering that I was only tinting weekends. Factor in how much money I spend on tools and it looks like I have to open my open tint shop. We’re all here a short time so I have to make as much money in the shortest possible time. Let me know if there’s any other questions.

Anyone that condemns an entire generation really needs to take a look at their self. 

I agree with TNTlady and KonSiva . I’ve worked part time for shops that consider themselves “high end” recently , and bottom line is they only care about quantity not quality. With the technology of plotters anyone who can half ass install a pre cut pattern thinks their a window tinter. However Looking at the classified /employment forum  here on Tintdude  is that there are lots of shops all over the country that get it and are willing to pay a good installer what they’re worth. 

...if you ever call one of the shops that spam this forum with help wanted plees..... you would be rudely awakened by what they are offering for labor..... may as well be a Walmart greeter.

Your "1" key must not be working, i think you meant maybe $145 for a full car (still too cheap) and $125 for a 2 door.
