I wanted to do the same. They cost too much and don't last long. I bought a training roll and it was expensive! Put it on my Jeep and less than a year later it looks like shit!
 
Talked to a company at SEMA and when I asked them how long the product would last he said about one year. That's not gonna cut it

Don't squeegee towards the bottom, squeegee along the bottom. And if you lay it up outside wet and stretch it out right you should only have fingers up top in the dots to shrink. Hardest part of the window is laying it and cutting the defrost tabs out right.

I am one of the original TINTDUDE members....I have been tinting for 35 years,,,,Been retired for the last 7...im 53 years old and decided to get back into the game....going to be selective on what cars I do but looking to go full speed with the flat glass. I cannot believe the advances in the quality of films since i have been away..Wish me luck gents

I use steel wool on every window I do that has defroster lines!!!  

At 55 and 33 years of tinting everything pisses me off lol the more you aggravate me the more I charge you.

You can call me whatever you want when you're handing me 100 dollar bills
 

If you mess up just get another piece. It's only film, no one is going to die

@OverLord so far my best defense with peanut prone windows is scrub and shrink really slow. I'll let you know soon

We spend about two hours on the model 3 and do them all in one piece. Also charge more for the risk and customer signs we are not liable for glass breakage. Here in the Northwest the owners are a mixed bag, some cool and some not so much.
