I also use that hammer it has a nice flat head on it.....they also make some screw on tips that have a slight slight curvature to them. that hammer has really helped me out sometimes when other tools cant.
and u will def. like the extra tips and tip holder. I need another tip holder now myself. now u need some of those rods with screw on tips from ultra.
I ordered some more dent tools the other day and its so much fun when they come in the mail. I was online on this other forum site and I thot to myself I wonder if diablos tint commented anything new on tint dude. haha
good luck man I hope everything is working out for you on the pdr side of things!!
there is so many tools out there it is just trying to determine what will help you the most with the type of repairs that you do. I want to order some more rods here but I wanna be cautious so I don't order something that is gonna sit around. Im looking for the type of tools that are the first thing that you reach for if you know what I mean

How about just "Veteran Glass Tinting". Keep it simple.

I love Absolute Perfection Window Tinting (member here), but you have to bring it with that name. Also like Signature Glass Tinting which I see online a lot.

In my humble opinion do something with the city name. Your business/shop can have all the military stuff you want, in the end you want something people are searching for.

Maybe something with a rank like Tint Sarge or Tint Sergeant.

Diablo's Tint got a reaction from VWaholic in Most popular search phrase Googled
Do you guys do keyword research or are you just guessing? Go to Google ad words, find key words, type in what you "think" are good key words & it will show you how many times a month that word or term is searched.

Diablo's Tint reacted to pbalentine in How many cars
One thing that makes it harder starting out is the frequency you tint. 5 a week or just 1? You can forget stuff fast and the more you do the quicker you would catch on. If i could go back, i would tint my own vehicle 1-3 times per day, along with shrinking the bg a few times. The cost of film would be worth the waste.

I got lucky. Had to deal with a Dodge account from the very start. So dealt with wranglers, 200s, 300s, and Chargers for a whole year with a ship that sold 100 a month. I honestly think that those cars made me better really quick. Lots of headaches and long ride home but I'm glad it happened to me.

Diablo's Tint reacted to Midtown Houston in Custom Heat Lamp Box for sale
After many years of building, buying, and collecting heat lamp display through out the last 12 years....This is the best one. It is made from aluminum and wall mounted. The size is 30" x 28" x 7 3/4". We are selling $500 plus tint because of this box daily. We spend less time explaining and selling to customer because of this heat lamp box. The box and graphic serve as a informative and heat display all in one. It is very user friendly, the film will sell itself using this box. We have hundreds of customer that walk up to this box and say I want that one.
The graphic on the box are custom design by us in-house. We own a graphic and printing company call Innovation Design and Graphic. Since we are a window film company....We are better at designing what graphic will work or not for the window film consumer.
I have 10 left and will custom design your brand film of choice. I would just need to know the 3 films you want on the glass. I will grab the spec of the film and design, print, and install. All you need to buy is the IR bulbs and installed it to the wall.
The box with custom graphic installed and shipped is $650. You will get your money back from the extra profit this box made in a few days. Email me at NorngLLC@gmail.com if you are interested.

Diablo's Tint reacted to Aesop_Rock in Window Tint + PPF?
We are building steam with our tint shop so I think winter wise we should be ok. But it would be great to start another revenue stream and build that up during the winter so when spring summer comes we can hopefully increase our profits while offering more to our customers.
We get a lot of asks about PPF so it sucks to say NO we don't offer that to a customer. Plus the cost of training was a bit more than we thought it would be.

any business can pay you good money. There is a picker uper in Vegas that makes bank. Do what interests you, I think Steve Jobs said "the way to be successful is to love what you do"

Diablo's Tint reacted to XPEL Jeff in Window Tint + PPF?
The days of $2.5k full fronts are hardly over. They are only beginning. The busiest ppf shops in most markets are the highest price ones.
With a quality product, install, and customer experience in tint or ppf, you can make solid margins. It just takes a long term commitment to solid work to build that demand and value (not unlike what the snippet from Lorenzotint said).
We'd be happy to help you get set up on a ppf program, but if your tint business is not where you want it there's a way to fix it!
-
Diablo's Tint reacted to XPEL Jeff in Window Tint + PPF?
PPF is generally more profitable than tint, but it is a more difficult product to learn and takes a longer time to get off the ground (most consumers don't even know it exists).
PPF is a good add on to a tint business, but if you're struggling in keeping the shop full with your tint business, chances are that you'll have just as hard of a time with PPF.
make sure that youve thoroughly analyzed the reasons that tint is not busier for you in the winter and that there isn't something that you can do to fix the root cause.
