Made this myself and put one in every car. Done deal, saw one very similar to it but was worded horribly and did not look professional at all so I put my touch on it and made this.

i also inspect every vehicle for damage interior and exterior and for window defects and point every one on them out before accepting it.

It definitely shrinks better than express. Smoother shrinks too without causing peanuts. Biggest thing about SolarFX I’ve noticed in over 2 years using it. Like @quality tintz said. Let the film cool off some before hammering it down.  Also... take your heat gun a back it off some and blow heat under the Film then start your normal shrinking

By lowering your price for “that” customer... you diminish your value and your worth. My price is my price. Friends and family get discounts... but as soon as someone says I’m High. Or can I do it cheaper... I tack 10% to the price. That usually does the trick

Start with your corners... then work inward. I usually start in center and work out. But when you have a difficult glass I’ll begin at the corners and work stress into center. Also are you dry or wet shrinking?

Blue max is great... try the clear max it’s a little softer. But whether you use those or orange crush or anything related... before each job take a white scrub pad and a little glass cleaner and scuff the edge.  All but guarantee it to stop your scratches.  Also if you push it into side seals. Wipe it off before your next pass

After many years of hand cutting switching over to a plotter is more than worth the investment.

Glad I’m not the only one. I do ALOT of work for a big truck dealership. And every single one has a headache rack.  And I hand cut lol. New Fords Rams and Silverados I have patterns for to speed it up

I probably wouldn’t have but got a sweet deal from a guy that tried it for a year and gave up. It saves my finger tips from being raw from holding the knife all day and keeps my shoulder from a lot of aches n pains from being held up so much. Worth staying out of the dr’s office to me...although I don’t go unless an artery is cut or a bone broken

Yep give @whitehog a shout. They are a solar fx and global distributor. I use the carbon, ultra, it, and ceramic from solar fx.

The BEST!!! place to start is Dragon Distributing.    Excellent choices of film for any level of install.  Even better customer service.

I'm a one man show so I take it when I can. I try and schedule it around 12 but when I'm busy doesn't always happen. I don't see much of a need for more than 30 minutes though with one 15 morning and afternoon. Can't work the guys to the Bone especially this time of year. As far as leaving as long as there's something close by, by all means get away for a few.
