Cloth seats and door panel stained

Has anyone ran in to this problem? Some cars have light beige cloth panels and seats and they get stained with the water solution. What have you done to remove the stain?

I don't have any advice for removing the stain, you might get lucky and have it dry out, but my advice would be to cover the area during the application so it doesn't cause a problem to begin with. I use some large towels from Walmart that were cheap.

If it's older and doesn't get cleaned often you're probably just spreading dirt that was already there. Just clean up after, using upholstery cleaner like blue corral or even foaming glass cleaner.

Always recommend to cover the panels. Edge film has some really great reusable covers or home depo sells pre-mask shark skin that is pretty reasonable. 

When you still get part of the cloth wet you might wet the entire area so when it drys you don't have the stain line. Just saying...works!

Window tinting solutions also have an effect on streaking.  If you only use Film-on to clean, install and then to clean the glass after your install, there isnt much of a streaking problem on panels.

Never really have a problem, especially since panels are off most the time. If it does gets wet, I wipe it down right after positioning the film, then squeegee it out.

Just spray the entire cloth area as if you are detailing the car and dry it as good as you can with your towel. It will dry uniform then. Every panel out there needs a good cleaning.

I’ve had this problem before ! Not sure what to use on seats that are so easily stained by just water ! But yes putting towels down would be a good idea ! The new civic with the light blue cloth stains if you breathe on it . I dislike it when the whole inside is covered in armorall and when you spray water to install it streaks the door panels based on where the amorall  came off

Mostly spray some foaming glass cleaner wipe off and dry with heat gun. Works most of the time.
