Thought I was gonna have one of those last week. Box even said Marijuana on the side of it.

But, I confirmed when he came back to pick it up that he had already turned in his "testing material" for the K9 before bringing me his patrol car.

I use it only on top when there is a wide band where the dots are so close together that the film can’t stick to the glass between them and cause a silver look from the outside.
2 dr accord, mustang, older Camaro, Baretta, fords ect.

Exactly. Within 10-15 min while doing the rest, adhesive sets up and go back to the first installed window and shave up up and away.

File does nothing for framed glass. Frameless door are nice with a file, but I prefer to use carbon blade olfa at about a 35 degree.

I use the bevel on the glass to determine where and what angle I would file the edge at.  I only go with an up motion to ensure a clean shear.  I stick the film and let it dry before attempting to file it.

Yes it’s possible. That is all I use unless we have the fans on; controlling the heat with distance is the key. If it is windy or fans running it affects the torch and grab a heat gun instead

Have you thought about a lot of new car dealerships preload a lot of add-on crap to bump up an addendum; paint sealants is one of them. If the detailers wipe them down with sealants that have silicate(silicone) base and when it is applied it takes a few days to cure......then it can be an issue.
Ran into that a few years doing partials for a Honda and bmw dealer. Drove me nut then found out they were putting perma-plate sealants on their new cars.
Pull out the wheel and charge them accordingly to compound that panel or clean all the edges with paint prep solvent and not worry about the centers, that part will eventually dry.
    Hope this may help... Cheers

This evening at 10:46pm will mark the one year destruction of my shop and we are kicking it off with a car show in town this week! The local car club wanted to do something for my grand reopening and have invited me to participate in the events this weekend. I plan to have them over at my shop hopefully in a month for my celebration to include my customers new and old. I may not have a show truck anymore but it wont keep me from enjoying their cool rides!! Some day maybe Ill do the car show scene again when I build something again. For now....its gonna be a great day!!

New Teflon cutting strip. Clean channel with brake parts cleaner prior to laying strip in. Make sure strip is level (some you buy or have get high spots from sitting). Warm, not hot with a heat gun and run finger covered with paper towel all the way to the en will let you know it is secured. I change strips once every two years. Don’t pounce thru the strip or have high spots and you are golden. Most people make the mistake of polling the old one off and laying the new one. The old one leaves adhesive in the channel and causes high spots. Like leaving glue on a window and tinting it.

When I was doing sunroofs back in the day I grabbed a pic ax and popped a hole in the roof ( instead of drilling a pilot hole), most said I don’t want to watch this anymore. On a side note of the rest for tint....I have a plaque that says; if you have to ask if it goes on the outside it is 40.00 extra; if I have to talk to you it is 100.00 extra; if you have to watch it is 400.00 extra, they seem to get the point. I generally provide pick up and delivery as a courtesy, he’ll, my wife has nothing else to do....

As mentioned by subscription service though, Vinyl Film Designs has a quality graphic selection. Also the web can get you bazillions of vector art on the subject.

Look up the "mdog soap shrink" and also look at my "the ryk shrink"

Soap works great but a heavier soap solution misted and wiped on the window will be very close to your dryer sheet.
