Yea, dont rush into it. i know the heat sucks, take some time and it will pay off. I just had to rip off crap tint on a car because it delaminated and faded. in the end u may just waste more time having to fix or have it replaced.

I don't recommend only looking for convenience. Otherwise you're gonna get that fast rushed job done in your unlit garage.
 
-look for a quality product
-reputable shop
-take your time to bring it there
- drop it off
-arrange for a ride to go home or to work and pass time

Thanks for all the feedback. On my way to a 3M dealer that is going to due 3M Crystaline for $399 plis another $149 for the windshield (also with 3M Crystaline)

You have to shrink the film before you apply it. It's a skill that take a long time to master. I wouldn't exactly blame the film. I can still make cheap film look good.

If you're set on doing it yourself, like I suggested express. Look at classic black,or 1.5 hp classic charcoal. Buy an nt cutter knife, and the nt auotolader knife. I'm not giving you bad info promise. 40x50 is like 130 or so before shipping on the hp. Shit ain't easy and if you're set in your ways buy enough to screw up ........ a lot....... cuz it's happening......

This is how you remove the sweep for an 2018 Audi Q5.
 
- Get a ply tool and remove the panel right below and next to the door handle.  You must remove it first from the lock/unlock button.
- Pull the panel toward the front of the door to remove it....If you try to pull it out, it will break.
- There are 2 toque screw that need to be remove and you are done.

I usually use 1 or 2 per car

Here are some photos with stratos 70 and air80 so u get a good idea of how it looks, overall performance i would say the 70 is much much better, if you plan to keep the car for a long time then its worth it. if not then just get the 80

You must have night vision like Vin diesel in the movie pitch black. 

The plus side with the stratos is it comes in many different darkness and it shrinks like butter. Much easier then the drei and the the crystalline. You should definitely give it a try! @DynamicATL
