i probably wont accept it either, can probably tint 10 kia optimas in that timeframe, half them buy ceramic for 500 bucks too

I think I am just not going to tint them period...too much headache.  I only stock 36"-40" rolls, don't feel like stocking 10 additional 60" rolls for all my popular options primarily for one vehicle not to mention the windshield issue.  Honestly just not worth it to me.

The film is always the first to blame  but 99% of the time if there's peeling issues, it's the installer. 

Oh, and word of warning... In the trunk there is electronics in the cavities behind the wheel arch on both sides. The audio amplifier is on the driver's side, and has holes on the top of the case. 
 
Roughly 50% of bimmerpost form members that got tints installed had the amplifier fail due to water damage. Any water at all from the rear deck drops right onto and into that amplifier!
 
It's pretty easy to remove (one 10mm nut), or you could put a bag over the top of it probably.

Quality of the shop is the highest priority, but as for films...Llumar, SolarFX, Global, 3M (CS & Up), Madico, Huper Optik, and Formula One are all better options than Suntek.

I have had issues like this, I enjoy quoting high prices and letting there car get botched without warning, then they will come crawling back feeling like crap lol

Cut long pattern and shave the top...

It's true. The teflon tape softens every edge of the card, and makes it impossible to set creases, hide specks. I usually have 2 cards. 1 with teflon, and an extra one without the tape to jam under my cuticle, or finger nail when I reach in to my pockets. Oh and to use on creases.

yea the peanuts the in house tinters get for the tint job doesn't motivate them to do nice installs. I love doing these cars for customers because they become your forever loyal client after.

You do understandthat most of us on here are not beginners don't you?   You keep posting like you think we are mostly some newby tinters!
