wade_660 got a reaction from KonSiva in What did you tint today?
this is a pretty neat car I did. It’s called a Holden from Australia. Was kinda like an Impala with a 6.2 in it.

Efficiency is one thing, quality is another.
You say work more efficiently ?? I say worry more about quality and quit being greedy and have some respect for the industry and not just make money slinging piss poor work.
If you won’t accept an application from a quality tinter that can produce work without comebacks only to be looking for how many he can push out, it seems to me you are more worried about the wrong side of things.
A quality tinter who produces work that doesn’t come back, will be better than a 14 car a day inexperienced film slapper who only knows how to do one type of car. Probably can’t hand cut a sliding rear window to save his life.

....and 14 is the average. That means some days he does more.
A man of your caliber should definitely be on your own. That dealership is holding you back.

Also, in the first post @cleverchimp, you said "factory privacy glass" . Pretty sure the Prius is a clear glass vehicle.

wade_660 got a reaction from Trooper_S550 in How? What do you think about this?
Yea looks like an odd place to be making cuts to me. If it were closer to the dots I’d be more inclined to think they did it. They may know a technique that I don’t.

wade_660 got a reaction from jh812 in Tinting a Full Semi
Not that it would change my decision but is anything over 40 hours considered overtime? I don’t know what it would take to get me to do that job, but it would be a lot and probably more of a commission structure as opposed to hourly. Like someone said earlier. I work too hard to get paid hourly

wade_660 got a reaction from ljr1977 in Flexible Tube Light - Must Buy
Is it rigid enough to squeeze in the top of a rear glass and hold itself up for the top cut?

wade_660 reacted to Blackwolftinting in Noobie can't get fingers away!
You can only shrink a finger towards the factory straight edge. If you shrink it any other way the film will singe and it’ll never lay down.

wade_660 reacted to CnCCustoms in Which of these is the fairest quote for ceramic considering brands?
One other thing. Don’t be swayed by computer cut.... a lot of the software is rough especially on top edges. An experienced tinter can hand cut better than any plotter by adapting to each individual vehicle

wade_660 reacted to DynamicATL in Should I get this redone?
As long as there are no light gaps (don't see any there), then yes you are being 1000% over the top but you already know that.

Frankie on normal windshields and half and half on big windshields. I reverse roll half of it to make it easier transporting and getting the film onto the glass
