    @TintDude
Hey Boss, wasn’t sure what to do with this one since it’s not technically Dodge anymore.
It’s definitely a full redesign for the better, at least for tint anyway. Seals all pull easy, I did not remove any screws, but I’m sure there’s one behind the handle if it makes you feel more comfortable. Just pop back the top outside of each panel and slide the seal out. Regular Chrysler plastic clips. The panel does not have the metal clips across the gasket though. Just an inch or two lower are a line of plastic clips securing the top portion of panel. See Pics....
best part= no side felts! And no shrinking on roof, sides, or B-glass ( the top edge of the slider is super tight and must be cut perfectly) everything else including roof has plenty of room. 3rd pick is looking down after the seal is out, showing the screw behind the handle
    4th sunroof border
    5th is border of slider

This vehicle is not for beginner....so do not try it.  Take about 25-30 min to remove everything needed to tint this Wagon and another 25-30 min to put it back together.....There go a hour so charge accordingly.  You will not be able to tint this vehicle without removing the sweep. This G Wagon is a Monster....If I keep working this hard, maybe I can own one.  Follow us on instagram @autofilmspecialists and @midtownmotortrends to see detail of our work.
    1. Remove blk screw on top of door pin
    2. unscrew the door pin and push down on it to lock position
    3. remove torque screw on door holder (what ever this thing is call....hand/arm rest)
    4. pop panel back to reveal 5 phillip chrome screw and unscrew them.
    5. remove sweep

    Back Glass.
    1. pop top center panel back
    2. remove 3rd bake light screw (4 total screw)

    Rear Quater:
1.....this is easy....just remove gasket with your hand....

Last step: Drink a Heineken and thank me for making your life easier Today.

There are 5 screw.  4 are expose and 1 hidden beside door handle. DO NO PULL ON THE DOOR.  When all screw are remove, pull up like a Ford F series. Very easy suv to tint when all of this is remove. It only take about 1-2 min per panel for removal.

This is how you remove the sweep for an 2018 Audi Q5.

    - Get a ply tool and remove the panel right below and next to the door handle.  You must remove it first from the lock/unlock button.
    - Pull the panel toward the front of the door to remove it....If you try to pull it out, it will break.
    - There are 2 toque screw that need to be remove and you are done.

I think you are getting way ahead of yourself...learn how to tint first getting atleast a few years under your belt.  Taking a training class is only going to show you the basics on very easy vehicles, you will still be a complete novice not knowing what to do on a lot of vehicles.  Being able to advertise your "Certified" isn't going to mean anything if you're producing trash work.  There are tons of shops that throw the "Certified" word around and they have had zero formal training...it is just a empty gimmick.  I can name atleast 5 tinters/shops in GA that claim to be certified with 10/20 years experience when their work shows maybe 6 months experience.  Hell next week we are having to tint a C6 Corvette rear window because Tint World can't get it done after 3 attempts.  Basically if your skills can't back up that certification, then it is 100% worthless.

As for 3M, you will need to check with the distributor offering the training as they might require you to be a dealer...I am honestly not sure.  If they do require it, I highly doubt 3M would sign you on as a dealer without an already established shop.  It is also going to be the worst film to train on since it is more difficult and more expensive.  There are plenty of dealers that have been tinting for years that still can't install 3M's higher performing films.  Also when trying different films, different techniques/tools are needed.  So if you get "Certified" on one, you might have to completely switch it up on another brand.

I always keep a bulldozer, reach, and a titan handy. Those will pretty much cover any hard to reach places on the bottoms of back windows. Also, you could try the stroke doctor. It’s similar to the side swiper, but you may be able to get more leverage with that one.

It's very difficult if not impossible to squeegee all the fluid out and I have found bubbles forming after a period of time. The only thing I can put that down to is any excess fluid will find it's own way to the weakest point of adhesion. Obviously it's preferable for this not to happen but I have found that fluid will dissipate over a few days if left alone but as has been said, best practice is to check and double check a panel before moving on to the next. If you try to squeegee a bubble after the film has started to cure though you can leave 'snail trails' in the film that won't go away. I would never leave a car in the sun to force dry the film as on a hot day it can actually boil the fluid and leave a vapor bubble that will never go of it's own accord and can leave a ring when you release it with a needle.

If you are serious, there are manufacturers that offer training coarses. You could take an entry level position at a high volume shop. Every car is different, and should be tinted accordingly. Starting out tinting on your own, (with 0 experience) there is really no way for you to even gauge the quality of your work. Just because “the customer didn’t come back and complain “
does not mean that the job was of good quality.
