You should practice on a 2 ply...in my opinion, you have to be good at the aim to install a 1 ply film.  It is so thin that any mistake will crease the film.

Reverse roll is the cleanest way but only if the car is clean and exterior glass that is shape is super clean.  I can never get it right so I Frankenstein even on big glass. I do it a different way.  I will fold on my peel board on big glass and work perfect.  I also go another technique that alway work and that is peel the liner and spray and put it back on the film then I will come in to install it and pull the liner out with inside the car.

Got my butt kick today doing some Tesla chrome delete...charge it right...I think $800 for M3 and $1200 for MS / MX. Side mirror have to be disassembled to do a quality install. Front and rear Emblem need to be painted.

This setup is not Afforable to any tinter or ppf installer unless you run a detailing department. There is another route call CR Spotless that will be the best for you. We pay Culligan monthly around $300 for this system....But it is worth over 10k if you were to buy it.

Im in Houston and we put 2oz of tint slime to every gallon when it is hot and 1oz when it is cooler (which is rare). We only use the orange tint slim....the green one do not work in hot climate.  I have seen the slim do some funny stuff to the adhesive to some film but not with 3M....As for J&J, we use 3oz per gallon when it is hot and we only buy the original and not the off brand.....For some reason the off brand do not work the same as the branded one. We use to have to have to clean our spray nozzle all the time but never had to do it since we got RO water.  Everything slide better with RO (10K - 15K system) water than distill. You are welcome to come get 5 gallon a time of RO water and see for yourself...bring breakfast taco by the way and it is free. You also welcome to come get a few oz of orange slim....

I would ask if he wanted to chrome delete since the car is already in there and cut him a deal.  Might be faster because getting replacement parts from Tesla is a huge pain because their parts are usually back-ordered.  Of course you have to offer the service in the first place.

Once a year but we put add salt every few months. $300 a month...I use it to pressure wash the car before ppf and no water spot.  If you did it without RO or DI system, the car would have wsterspot.

I’m in Houston, humidity is always a problem here. I tried the green tint slime for a while (per recommendation from mani). Never used the orange, though. Last I was using it, I was at 6-7 oz per gallon and still having trouble sliding the film. Oh, and we filter our water (not distilled) so if you forgot to empty a bottle or tank before you left that day, it smelled horrible the next day!  I’ve read that it’s because of the waters minerals breaking the slime down, and if you use distilled that doesn’t happen. Idk for sure, just too much trouble for me, went back to my original (joy) slip. I also use baby shampoo for a few things I install.

I’m confused about you post aswell. I started at the dealership as a Tinter. That was my way in the door. They started me at a low hourly wage but I didn’t care because I knew where I wanted to be and that I was going to get there. I came into there knowing that I wasn’t going to give them no choice and they had to make me a tech. In less then a years time I got a 40% increase in pay and now I’m union with all the perks and benefits. I worked hard and help everyone out and was a star employee. You see I never finished college and I did go to tech school but I never finished either. Being a journeyman tech is always something I wanted to see to completion. They pay for my schooling/training and certifications. I get paid for lunch travel and while I’m in school. In the meantime I run my tint business on the weekends. Yes I work 7 days a week. I’ll tint five cars every weekend with one  employee I’ve hired and I’m always booked several weekends out consistently. I’ve already got one high income skill and that’s tinting. I’m developing my second high income skill. My boss has plans to eventually phase me out as a Tinter and become a Tech only. Honestly I love what I’m doing now. My boss and work environment is awesome.  Whytint you sound like you’re your own problem. It doesn’t matter whatever you do you have to put in 💯. Really who cares what others techs think. When I first started the other techs didn’t respect my line of work but i feel that was my predecessor fault. He was a hack that got fired. Now it’s kinda funny they all say what are you still doing here you should go full time with your business.

When you own a shop that do 7 figures in just tint and ppf...you will rethink think that statement....it is not worth it to you because you are not dedicated in what you do or your skill stop. I was only doing 3-6 ppf a month in 2005 when no one know what ppf is and almost gave up. I was doing Crystalline in late 2009, selling it for $500 and couldn’t sell it.... but I never gave up.  Now I eat steak 🥩 almost everyday and drink heniken for lunch. It finally paid off after all these years....cheer 🍻

You realize that this is a window tinting forum right? You will likely have better luck with your question on a forum geared more towards outdoor power equipment or yard work/home improvement.
Maybe give one of these a shot:

For what it's worth I have a Poulan that works for smaller stuff but it's pretty finicky and in hindsight I wish I had spent more money for a better saw.

First question is where are you buying Crystalline from without being a shop meeting the minimum requirements?  Or are you buying that fake Chinese stuff on eBay?

Removal of door panel on this new model added to Volvo.

There are 5 screw.  4 are expose and 1 hidden beside door handle. DO NO PULL ON THE DOOR.  When all screw are remove, pull up like a Ford F series. Very easy suv to tint when all of this is remove. It only take about 1-2 min per panel for removal.
