I think you have purchased and installed a faulty piece of glass.  It is very possible, since you bought a junkyard piece of glass, that there is "weld spatter" on the glass.

The only way to know for sure is to pull the tint off the glass and them feel the glass with your hand or run a plastic card across it.  You will 100% feel the weld spatter if that's what it is.  If that is what it is, you can't do anything about and you will need to buy a brand new rear glass.

I use Black Pearl HP and have been since they started making it an I have not had anything bad at all. Never one car returned. Just started using Black Pearl Nano Ceramic IR and so far I love it as well. I can't honestly speak to it's longevity because it hasn't be out that long but so far so good. The Black Pearl NR is a lower line but if you stick with Black Pearl HP you should be OK. As far as Black Pearl Nano Ceramic IR, like I said so far so good, I guess only time will tell.

I like to say anything is possible, but I haven't seen one yet. Once film is exposed to the air, you are going to get something on there. Not to mention film can come with specs from the manufacturer. We let the customer know real world expectations straight from the jump. If they insist they have received or can receive a perfect tint job, we let them know we are not the shop for them. Then once they find that shop to please bring the vehicle to us once it dries so we can point out all the imperfections. Only had two people take me up on it and both times were embarrassed when we found over 10 problems each job. It is like when someone comes in with a new vehicle and they insist their vehicle is perfect because it is new. Cool, let's go walk the car together then their jaw drops when we point out scratches, defects in paint, scratches on glass, etc. I love walking the Tesla Model 3 since it has the worst quality paint job I've ever seen from a manufacturer.

Tinted this one couple months ago. The rear passenger glass looks like this. Different from other side. I guess it changes colour when it hit the sun ? Is that normal  ceramic tint though.

I started with Tinttek and loved them.....then I hated them. Let me explain...their customer service is top notch. Cindy Wayne gave me her personal cell number and helped me set up my plotter after hours during her drive home. Unfortunately customer service does not work in the pattern department. In one week I did a Jeep Wrangler front windshield which the pattern was about an inch too short at the bottom. Couple of days later I did 4 police Tahoes and all of the rear door windows were cut at an angle and short on one side at the bottom. I called and pointed out these issues with the promise they would be looked into. About two months later I did another Tahoe....same problem. Then shortly after the same problem with the Jeep windshield. I called back and it was..."we don´t work in that dept. but will let them know...we have had problems." I decided to change right then and moved over to Film Designs. I also subscribe to Llumar´s Precision Cut. That way I always am guaranteed to have what I need if one system doesn´t have a particular pattern. Happens a lot with windshields. Film Designs is a great system. You should call and talk to Brittany or Brett. They are great folks.
As far as plotters, I would definitely use Sign Warehouse. I would recommend the Vinyl Express Q series. I have two of the 42" plotters and one of the 64". These machines are generic versions of the Graphtec FC8600 and even come with the Graphtec manuals and blade holders and blades. I have a contact there who will absolutely give you the best price. Just let me know if you are interested and I can give you her contact info. Hope this helps and if you have any questions let me know. This part of the process can be a bit scary, but after 30 years of hand cutting I would never go back to it after using a plotter.

I use fusion all type now. SolarFX sets us quick. Global sets up quick. But I can stress enough. Xpel sets up before you can even get it into place. Especially on a large piece like a windshield or back glass.  Did a charger yesterday with one of the samples. No steel wool on defrosters. No rapid tac. No alcohol barely scrubbed it. Squeegeed it off. Shrunk as usual. Laid film on. No peanuts-Nothing. And it formed around those huge defrosters like a 1 ply film and STUCK

I tinted a 05 accord.  Well, 16 yrs old removed front panels. Both latch cable plastic broke. $240 cad I shouldn’t have. Rear original tint was bad anyway. But trying to do quality work ended up broke my own pocket. Was it worth it ?

Pull off armrest pry up switch 2 screws 1 screw behind opener. Panel is off. Rear glass spoiler not in way of cutting. Small opera front door tucks nice. The one I tinted had no factory tint. There also was no IR on any windows to worry about. Fairly easy to tint

It s just a tint.chill out . I wonder you see some people driving a car with millions of bubbles ? People spend $100,000 + buying their new car. I wonder if they ask for life time warranty or else they wouldnt buy it? No mostly 5 years warranty under strict  condition. You must bring back for services every 6 month. Can not install any after market parts or else warranty voided. Tint film warranty 10 years under any condition, rain, shine, wind storm. Cold. Where ever you park. But car owners still want more. ? Cmon shit
The word life time warrantee is just a selling point. What s the definition? 40 years ? 50 or 100 year ?

Yes if you cut all the way through the film can not feed in and out properly. It will cause it to get off track and destroy the pattern as well as your cut strip. You want just enough to through the film not the liner, then weed your pattern out.
