I used to mist the air a bunch and my shirt, but dont anymore.  Im mobile and if the wind is coming straight in no mist will prevent anything.  Also, misting on the roof can knock dust around if you peel right after doing it.  Now, i do a light mist across pattern and just above it real quick just before peeling.

Used to do it to certain times of the year we would see more floating contaminants.

I run a humidifer and in drier conditions wet the floor down. The key is to reduce static.

I tried one and now use them in all of my handles...Put the orange crush, blue max and clear max in the tool box. New they feel like spreading icing on a cake..velvet smooth and move the most water I have ever experienced with an auto squeegee. Just my humble opinion.

The "tint over it" has worked a could times for me and did nothing good the last time.

Simply put a quick tint job on it over the junk tint.  Bag it and set it in the sun.  Should release the whole thing once hot!

I didn't even have to remove glue the 2 times it worked.  Peeled clean!

Honestly I'd just pull the glass on that one, takes a little more time up front but less headache in the long run. I also came into this from a body shop background so pulling panels or a piece of glass is nothing new to me.

I bought a mid grade roll from tintdepot. It was 84 bucks 100x20 in. I did the H on the BG. I didnt snap it. Is it when you peel it off then put it back on and look for fingers. Thank you for all the help.

That one would be easiest with the strut supports off. Also, pop the latch covers off and maybe the wiper.

Why do you need it though removing the mirror doesn't require removing the tab.

I haven't shrunk a door sideways in a fucking long ass time but I never needed to do it dry. Save that for bugs and vettes. If you're getting fingers on the bottom half peeling I'm assuming, use a bottle with less slip on the bottom like I do when I cant bottom load. I'll use film on to set my top, roll it up spray my sides down and across the middle starting my flush down (first few inches of film that I'm about to work) I'll then spray my sides lightly and flush what's left of the window straight down with dirt off, which tacs up pretty fast. The benefits to this method are two fold in that I need little to no heat and any fingers are minor. I use dirt off on the regular, quick tac and you can touch up/chisel without as much if any heat. if you use too much dirt off on your bottom it won't slip at all though so think about where you really need it before you try sticking a whole window with it.  works on fords with lulu.

I think it’s quite simple. If our cheapest 1 ply Tint lasts as long as everyone here has spoken, just imagine how long our good stuff lasts, just saying!

Shouldn't need a bulldozer for that window.

Did one of those a month or so ago, not bad at all.

Only thing with them is the defrost lines are THICK.

Its a newer challenger. The roll ups move up and down every time you get in. I took a screw driver to trip it and keep it up  i just bought a bull dozer for the back window. Im going to get the back window this weekend. Hope the bull doser helps.
