In one month, we have done 10,000 posts here. It took over 2 years to do 90,000 on the old board. My hat is off to all the participants on this board, without you, this place would be a joke.

what do you guys think when a customer says this? first thing I want to do is tell him to get lost, because I dont want to get caught up in their "@nal" world and be part of it. it just blows my mind when people call their cars their "baby" I have had plenty of damn nice cars and not once did I call it my baby, guess I dont get it......makes me wonder sometimes how these type people can stand the thought of their tires contacting the road and getting dirty personally I would have to wrap them in trash bags and drive on them, then take the bags off when I get where I am going so people could see them I actually say one guy on another car forum detail his car and wrap th…

and it took me a couple hours to get caught up. I do have some interesting info though. friday when I walked into my llumar distibutor and introduced myself, the girl said "from grapeland?". I said yes, then she says "are you thetintshop on tintdude.com?" I was like YEAH. then I was like, "wait a minute, hope I haven't said anything I shouldn't have." made me kind of uneasy. I guess I just didn't think about my distibutor monitoring this site.

the gasket wizard - does anybody use one?? 1 2
by Guest naughtydog- 15 replies

Today I did a vehicle and I feel that if I had a gasket wizard - I would have saved some time. I normally always remove the door panels but as I am a beginner and am still slow, this adds time to the job. I did a Honda Jazz today and still removed the panels to be on the safe side. Is there a long hard card that is used to push the film down when using the gasket wizard?? Is it worth me buying one. I am in the UK so getting hold of one might be a problem?? Thanks Naughtydog

I accidentally wiped out the last 6 days from the board Damn, I nearly lost it all, and had a helluva time restoring this much, I am so sorry poeple. If you registered on the 6/8/03 or later you will need to register again, sorry for the bumpy road but the learning curve is steep and harsh.

Many Thanks to TintDude.com for customer referrals
by Guest Litespeeds- 5 replies

TD, you are the best! I just opened my Fremont location about a month ago and received at least 5 customers because of this site. What is really hard is I am in a business centre without any advertising in the yellowpages. Just have an A-frame sign, word of mouth and TintDude.com advertising my existence. Thanks again for EVERYTHING. So are you going to make it out to SEMA this year so we can all show you our appreciation?

Question on reverse rolling 1 2
by Guest BAD60FT- 10 replies
I have been reading alot of people are using the reverse rolling method for doing the rear window, how do you roll it up do you use a rubber tube or just roll the film up by itself, also when you peal the liner back on one side do you peeel the liner back half way and apply the slip soulution then do the other side so 100% of the tint has the slip solution on it. I was reading the how to section here and it shows only the outside edges have the solution on it, if this is case does the center of the tint stick when installing what are you suggestions ??
