2007 Camry 1 2

I took the back seat out the back seats fold down and took the two extra little cushions on either side of the back seat rests, and then the rear tray just seemed to pop up with little plastic clips but there is something holding the back part near the 3rd brake light. Its seems like it has something to with the side panels but those side panels are the air bags and I don't even want that to deal with. Any help quick will be appreciated... Thanks.

Window tint bubbles??
by Guest jfox420- 5 replies
- 34.3k views
I just got my widows tinted two days ago from a local business and there are quite a few bubbles in it. I called and asked about it and they said it was normal the film just needed to dry out and would then would be bubble free in no more than a month- Some of the bubbles are like the size of a pencil eraser head. Will they actually dry up or are they just yanking my chain so they don't have to replace it right away, second they said I could roll my windows up and down in three days but if I do that with the bubbles will that mess thme up?? Third there is a small place where ait looks like a hair in the film I think it stuck to itself there, that defiantely won't fix …

Landcruise

Would someone be able to advise me with regards to the trouble I had tinting the rear glass on a Land Cruiser, I normaly tint flat glass but do cars sometimes, I have been taught on how to shrink film and after many attempts usually manage OK, but after 4 trys and 2 and a half hours of try the Land Cruiser rear gave up, but got a feeling that because I was outside with the sun behind me? I ended up creasing the film 4 times, is this just bad experience or is the sun on the film not a good idea when shrinking the film? I went outside as the car was to big to get in the garage Any input would be great, thanks Mike, From Sunny Spain.

Hi, We have done several Matrix's. The only problem is the back glass. In the rear there are 2 shocks. How do other tinters do them without damaging the shocks. When we removed them with a ficegrips they left teeth marks. When we tint around them there was a gap and customers complained. Any ideas? Thanks

1997 Camry

Hey guys, I just did one of this today. It wasn't hard, but the customer is complaining about the dirts around the edges of the B pillar because I tuck the film right to these edges and the film almost gone behind the metal panel that holds the window in place. Knowing the age of the car and the way the rubber moulded around this model, would it be possible to tint the car completely clean?

2005 avalon 1 2

new designed car. doors are like typical toyota and the backglass is pretty flat just like the previous avalon but there is a 3rd brakelight molded under the plastic deck. I managed pretty easily to squeege back behind the 3rd brakelight with a bulldozer. The back of the car is kinda streched so its a farther than usual reach to the bottom of the backglass. thumbs up for this car pretty easy one.

2005 FL Toyota Camry
by Guest Shooter38- 4 replies

After a couple hours of reading threads on this great site, I have come up with the following options for our 2005 Lunar Mist (silver) Camry. Factors/priorities: 1) Heat reduction 2) Not interfere w/ radio (hybrid seems ok) 3) Look good 4) Moderate price (doesn't have to be top of the line HO) It looks like LLumar ATR 20 CH TSER 48 (CH = charcoal I'm guessing) will be a good fit (assuming FL law is 20%) I would also considerer the LLumar Stealth ATR 18 or Platinum Plus 18 with TSERs of 62 & 65, but am worried about the higher metal contents interfering with the radio. What are the colors of the Stealth and Platinum? I'm guessing the stealth is a dark charcoal…

2005 Toyota Corolla XRS
by Guest Al-tint- 1 reply

Dealership calls and says they have 3 in and want them tinted today, no problem. This car has a 170 HP motor and they have changed it. Dealership did not know that they have changed, they checked and it is just the XRS 170 model. Change - back seat does not fold down. To do a proper job and remove the rear deck you have to pull the seat bottom out and seat back, side "C" pillars and then deck. If you want the benefit of putting your body in the trunk you have to remove 4 bolts to get the body stiffining cross brace out and remove the cheap black COROPLAST backing. The brake light is in the spoiler but the deck still has a moulded fake one. Not a big hassel but kinda s…

Best tint for 2005 Toyota Prius 1 2 3
by Guest ruthie- 29 replies
I just bought a new 2005 Toyota Prius and you may or may not know the sort of rabid following this hybrid car has. Anyway, although there is UV filtration in place - there is no or not much "tint" to this vehicle. I live in FL where the sun is RELENTLESS. I also use Retin-A on my somewhat senstive pale skin and therefore don't want any "rays" to hit my face. This vehicle needs tint. Mostly other prius users recommend not to tint - my husband really doesn't want me to (because of the ugly tint jobs around) however its my car and my face. I live in Tallahassee and it seems as there are only 2 long time tinters around. I chose one that has the 3M product. It seems ar…

Guys, This Toyota is brand new but watch the window down by the dash. It's so small barely a "little chisler" can get in there and is about three times the size of that tool. To top that off when you do eventually get in there with your film, it is easily felt contaminated off the trim material. Price the job accordingly....it's the only pane that ruins this car to tint. Window tinting and internal glass antenna 1 2
by Guest toyotafanatic- 10 replies

Recently, I decided that I wanted to tint my car window. I have a Toyota Camry that has an internal glass radio antenna in the back glass. I was searching through some car forums recently and I saw this post and I was curious as to how accurate it was: "Please note the Camry has an internal glass antenna radio. Most high end tint uses metalized film, which could affect the radio reception. I would make sure to ask for a non-metalized film which is either the cheap dye film or premium non-metalized film. Is that above an accurate statement? I would really want to know before I have my car windows tinted.

Top of the panels pull back. Pop off front corner cap, remove the screw in the door handle and the push pin on the top front of the panel and it pulls right back. Slider has black borders now. Cake job.

The darkness seems to be the same. Has anybody had any sucess in finding the correct tint manufacter the most closely matches Toyota's 2005 factory rear tint. Thank you in advance for any help
