I was wondering if this was going to happen... Here in Canada I heard on the news (I'm sure it's similar in U.S. as well) that SUV /minivan sales are down 50% because of the rising cost of fuel to drive them . Overall sales of cars however are not meaning people are still buying vehicles...just more cars now. Good news in my opinion seeing a most SUV's and minivans already have a factory tint on them thanks to the car manufactures cutting into our peice of pie a few yrs back..but cars don't come that way ...I'm thinking business will increase with more car tints now due to the former SUV buyer customers still wanting tint on his/her new economical car

I haven't got her into service yet, but I finally have one to modify a bit and use. My cheapo pump tank from the local hardware store is still doing a great job (after about five years of service now), but I am sick of pumping it two or three times on every car. My father lives in a nearby city that has a major Pepsi distributor. I mentioned to him about two years ago that I was interested in a Cornelious (sp?) tank from them. He tried to get one from the distributor, but they wouldn't let one go. He found the maintenance location for this distributor last week. They fix any issues with the valves and seals, and wash them all out before they are re-filled. They sol…

Columbia County Commissioner George Skinner defended his use of discretionary funds saying al-Qaida members are in the county and law enforcement needs good equipment to keep the public safe. Skinner said during the Columbia County Charter Review Committee meeting Tuesday that terrorists are even a threat in Columbia County. "My passion is public safety," he said. "We are living in very perilous times. If we don't think al-Qaida ... is not living here in Columbia County ... There are some folks here who want to tear our country down." Some of his discretionary funds have gone for the purchase of tint meters which can measure how much tinting a motor vehicle window has …

Tinted auto windows 1 2 3

Hi - Can anyone help me with what I am sure is a common problem. I had my Maxima windows tinted about 4 years ago professionally and bubbles are starting to form around the edges of the rear window and side windows. The car sits out and gets a good deal of sun from Los Angeles. Is there any technique I can employ to get the bubble areas to re-stick to the window or settle down. Any help and advise would be very much appreciated.

This is the newest concept in cutting film directly from the box. Long time coming, but finally has arrived. http://www.tintwizardinc.com/External/Arti...ClientID=&Mode= Or you can remain in your box where no one can see you.

Our family just took control of a 96 Ram PU from another family member that trashed it, and we need to fix it up enough to sell it just to pay the bank off (3k owed) Black paint, scratched up pretty good, but just mainly the clear coat and some scratched that are into the paint pretty good as well. What could a DIYer use to hide these well enough to get the rig sold? Would the colored wax work in combination with a polish? It can either be done by hand or I have one of those cheapo low speed buffer/polishers from wally world (don't laugh!!!). What steps should we take to get this looking as good as possible for resale? I already have the interior in order, but the e…

Hello, I have made a decision to start an Auto Detailing business. I have no prior knowledge but I have mad drive and I know I can learn and be great at it. I wanted to ask you pro's your advice on what equipment to buy. And also any other advice you most graciously want to give. I have about 4,000. to start with. I have a chevrolet Equinox I will be starting with. I will be getting a truck and then eventually a trailer. I have been looking on www.rightlook.com and I am thinking of taking their 2 day seminar which is 297.00. I also thought of purchasing some of their equipment. They seem to be pretty low priced. Any Advice is much appreciated! Thanks, Jasaman

tint peeling back
by Guest tankster- 5 replies

I just had my vehicle tint removed and tinted with Global GLux 3 days ago. It was fine up untill today I noticed about a 1/2 inch section starting to peel back from one of the edges. Can it be fixed? is it something I could do or something the tinter can do? Also are bubbles normal? I know cloudiness is normal for like a month or two but these are bubbles a little smaller than a dime is this normal? Thanks in advance.

Dryer sheet shrink 1 2
by Guest Unique Auto- 10 replies
- 1.3k views
How do you make any anchor using the dryer sheet? Won't you crease the tint since there's no water? My next problem is that my sides always have a horizontal fingers that I move the the top and bottom to make vertical since you can't heat the sides. I always end up with a never ending fat finger that I separate but sometimes burn. Any tips?
