Got a 64 Chevy Pick up to do. As Scotty would say "That means it is an old truck !" Question being, at that time, were the windows clear glass ? The windows on that one are all flat as well ? It is a Fleetside, if that makes any difference.

Got a 2006 chevy corvette to do at work tomorrow, never done one of these back glass, done the side windows, but not the back glass, the other tinter which has about 8+ yrs. experience vs. my 2+ is out with back problems. I did a camaro back glass the other week, took me ahwile to get it but I got it in the end. Anyways, any tips on the shrinking process? I use bounce for the shrinking process (dry shrink). Thanks for any help.

I got to do one today (GRAVY) But don't try one unless you have a bulldozer." for rear window" door glass drops just like most new frame-less windows. And I'm sorry I don't know how to post pics. Yet. I just had to brag.

Can the back window on this beast be done in one piece. All of my years of tinting this will be the 1st 57' CHEVY I have ever done. Its a show car for a gentleman here in Houston. I want to give him quality work, but the back window looks intimidating. Especially with the massive amounts of curve on the sides. Any information would help me out, BIG TIME.

Hey, I see there's a couple threads on the C3 vette. I therefore see that many do the rear in one piece. I have one in the shop now, and want to do it one piece. I've been able to get plenty of tough windows in one piece so I'm sure I can get this, but wanted some tips on where to put the wet strip...wet or dry shrink...etc. Appreciate it. Ryan

Hey all! This is Jana - Derek's wife. We got a truck in overnight, it's an 04 Duramax 2500. They are wanting a visor strip and the rearview mirror mounting bracket has us stumped. It looks like it is just clipped on . Any ideas on the best way to remove the mirror / mounting bracket without the risk of popping the windshield?

I'm tinting my buddy's 2004 Chevrolet Avalanche tomorrow and I happen to notice that on these trucks there is no nice black ceramic stuff as in most newer truck back windows. However the back window can be removed very easily. Is there any way to make an accurate cut around the hard plastic edges ? all help is greatly appreciated !

00' S10 Rear Window

I just got my tint done yesterday and I was wondering if I should go back and get this looked at. The bubble is about the length of two quarters and about as fat as a penny. It is not filled with water, it is filled with air(I understand sometimes the tint needs to get dry). I was wondering if I should take it back to the tinting place and get them to fix it. I also have seems like dirt or something under the tint of my drivers window and under the bubble on the rear window.

Does anyone take this addl. antenna off, or do you leave it on and cut around it? I believe it is the onstar antenna, looks like a cell phone antenna from back in the day. Just wondering. I've seen another tinter take one off before, so I was wondering if it is just held on with two sided tape. I have one to do tonight with this antenna on it.

These type of vehicle reminds me why I went to college to be an engineer. Not only do I hate wing windows, but the back glass on this had 'firebird' defrosters. They had about one inch of clear glass on both sides of big defroster braids running entirely up both vertical sides of each of the two panes or should I say pains. It turned out nice, but I am sure glad most of these trucks all rotted out up here in Wisconsin. This one was owned by a bodyshop owner. Nice truck, but crappy to tint.
